Big4 Mudgee Holiday Park
"Was lucky enough to find a cabin for the long weekend, however, our stay was marred by the park's poor amenities. Even though it had a decent pool, a few things were either out of order (like one of the 3 bbqs and the sauna) or falling apart (the pool table needs to be seriously replaced). Overall, the park needs a good refresh. The cabin was small (shower is tiny!!) and barely comfortable, but it's really outdated. There's still an old type clock radio next to the bed. Also, the walls were paper thin and i could hear my kid's moving around during the night. If you're coming, make sure you bring your ear plugs. At the end of the day I suppose you get what you pay for. Had stayed at the Gulgong tourist park during Easter in one of their modern larger cabins and would probably go back there in the future for the same price. Sorry, won't be back until this place has been brought into this century."
Perry Street Hotel
"One of the best in Mudgee and well priced, rooms are clean and well appointed with a small kitchenette for those that want to stay in. Staff are polite and helpful if you need some local advice, a cab booked etc."

The Clairfield Hotel
Evanslea Luxury Boutique Accommodation
"Stacey was an amazing host, even before we had arrived I felt welcomed and looking forward to our stay! All her suggestions on things to do in the area were just spot on. We absolutely loved The Orchard Cottage, very private, comfortable and the little kitchen was so well set up. The location is walking distance to the main part of town, but once you turn into the driveway to Evanslea you feel like you are in a completely secluded location. The lovely gardens and water features just make it so picturesque. We will absolutely be back! Thanks again!"
Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel
"We stayed one night here with daughter and our partners and had a fantastic stay - shame it couldn’t be longer. We had the 2 bedroom apartment and it was really comfortable and luxurious - a kitchen and whirlpool bath were unexpected bonus. Would love to return. Can recommend Isabel’s Italian restaurant too - really great food and service."
Kirsten Accommodation Mudgee
"We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which looked very newly built.Bedrooms had TV’s and small on-suites with large showers.Full kitchen and laundry,Location is excellent and in walking distance of main street of Mudgee with plenty of parking.Quite location with a backyard you can have a BBQ in.The garage is small and so big cars will not fit, We decided not to park in there, We would stay again"
Mudgee Valley Park
"Excellent place to stay. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Kitchen facilities were basic but more than needed. Well equipped camp kitchen/ games area. Park itself is very well maintained. Friendly office staff. Nothing for us to complain about."
Wanderlight Motor Inn
"I booked a Standard Queen room, via the website, for an overnight stay in Mudgee. We knew check-in was 2pm but arrived in Mudgee about 1pm and drove to the Motor Inn. Reception was closed so we knocked on the door as we wanted to ask if we could leave our car on the property. The lady at reception told us in a very unfriendly manner that check in was "not before 2pm" however we could leave our car there. We arrived back at 2.10pm, still closed, so phoned reception to gain access. We were given the key to Room 10 on the ground floor. It was quite roomy, very clean and had been refurbished, by way of painted brick walls and new carpet. However, there were some short falls. The curtains had several hooks missing so could not be closed properly. The bathroom was very narrow with only a sliding door and the toilet had a constant drip. The plastic shower curtain wasn't great for stopping water getting on the floor and unfortunately, no hand towel or bath mat which meant a visit to reception. The lady questioned my husband whether he had looked around for the towels. The next morning we couldn't find any cups so had to use our own. When checking out, we mentioned the lack of cups and again was asked if we had looked everywhere as there should be cups. She came into the room and searched high and low. It appeared to us that this Motor Inn relies on guaranteed bookings for contract workers coming to the area and has let things go a bit or can not get staff. This was our last night on our self-catering road trip and the 10th motel, mostly family owned ones, we had stayed in on our journey. First impressions are gained at check-in and there was no warm welcome here, whatsoever. Except for the city of Bendigo, the Wanderlight Motor Inn had the most expensive tariff of the other eight. Customer service goes a long way in this industry and I will definitely be trying out a different motel when next visiting Mudgee."

Owl Head Lodge
"Stayed in Glass Studio West. One of the most fantastic places I've every stayed. More so in that we had the place to ourselves. Idyllic location with everything laid on. A Smart TV that is actually smart!! Could pass as a B&B. Only complaint would be the bumpy dirt road to get into the place. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to family and friends."
Ten Dollar Town Motel
"Friendly, efficient and very helpful."
Gulgong Tourist Park
"Very nice, Kim is so lovely! Great location and one of the cleanest holiday park !"
Parklands Resort Mudgee
"We traveled as a group of four. We stayed for one night in a room that sleeps 5. however there were only 4 chairs and three forks. It has been newly refurbished and the bathroom renovated. However the bathrooms already show wear and tear with stained grout and silicone. That was disappointing. The bathroom window needs to be updated. It still had the mash opening, so it will be freezing in winter."
Gulgong Telegraph Station
Glenayr Farm
"A top spot! We had our family Christmas at Glenayr. The range of accommodation meant there was something that suited everyone. People were able to come and go as other family commitments dictated. The central area was perfect for multiple meals with from 9 to 12 people and could have handled a few more. A pool table, dart board and huge DVD collection meant everyone had something to do. And if nothing else, you could sit and enjoy the view and the kangaroos. Very peaceful and chilled. Rachel was a great host and helped out with a few requests. We would do it all again."
