We booked afternoon tea for our daughter’s confirmation in April. We had 16 adults and 8 kids. The hotel provided us with a private space for this. From start to finish we can’t compliment the staff and management enough. No request was too much. The quality of food and its presentation was top notch. There was ample food for everyone and when we asked for extra sausage rolls for the kids a fresh batch were produced in quick time. Teas and coffees were topped up at regular intervals. The staff were incredibly attentive and special mention to Louise and Barbara who oversaw all and ensured we were looked after very well. I’d highly recommend the Greville for afternoon tea or any family gathering.

Had a selection of a carvery meal, while the selections were basic. You could only order from this menu until 5pm on a Sunday. While the food servers were great, the lounge & bar staff have never had customer service training. Never was approached for any service of drinks, or tell us about the food service/menu. As visitors to the town from another country, we were shocked & disappointed not to get the Irish hospitality treatment we have heard to much about.

We recently enjoyed the atmosphere and fabulous service for a confirmation meal in the james Joyce restaurant. It was excellent value for money with plenty of great food and extremely helpful staff thank you to Simona Anne & amy on the day for making our young mans day so special and Louise for helping to make our booking we will 100% be recommending to all our family and friends 🧡

A long established and well run hotel in Mullingar. Right in the town centre. Plenty to do in the area great pubs and restaurants. Also good shopping in the town.

The food was absolutely divine, with each meal crafted to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. My room was the epitome of coziness – clean, welcoming, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I truly felt at home here and can’t wait to return. If you're looking for a warm, inviting atmosphere and top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

This hotel is by far the best I’ve ever stayed at in the area! The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. The food was exceptional, with every dish crafted to perfection. My room was spotless, comfortable, and the perfect retreat after a long day.
