We’ve just spent a week in the lovely village of Mullion. We visited the Mounts Bay inn on several occasions during the week and found the establishment to be very welcoming and friendly. The landlords are clearly very committed and work extremely hard. They have all the major sports channels and a fine selection of Cornish drinks such as rattler and tribute along with a decent compliment of kids drinks. My son showed an interest in playing darts so it was great for him to be able to use the dart facilities whilst I had a pint on an evening. We didn’t have any food but did see some dishes coming out of the kitchen and they looked like great value for money. We will definitely be back at some point and hope the pub continues to trade and wish the landlords the best of luck.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here recently, visiting on holiday. New people have recently taken over the pub and found it to be a very friendly atmosphere and friendly locals and staff. The pub was clean, bright and with a lovely cosy welcoming fire. Will definitely return when next down.

The food is spot on. Made by people who enjoy food and know how to cook it. We ate soup of the day catch of the day and the fish and chips. Oh and a garlic flat bread which was a crispy oily treat right down to the last crumbs. All were excellent. The Pea & mint soup came with warm and toasted olive beard which somehow managed to be soft in the middle and crispy on the outside and plenty of butter. The hake with samphire and new potatoes was on point, cooked precision perfect and served with a jus that was packed with oily herby fishy flavour. I was delighted that nipper couldn’t finish her F&C and happily tidied that up for her. Good grub, very good grub. Delicious.

Visited this venue for a drink and would have considered eating but while sat near door a resident from upstairs came in and verbally abused us. He left and we moved further into the venue to finish our drinks ,then he returned and came right up into my face shouting, verbally abusing and threatening violence. The staff done nothing until after he left and then said they had told him not to leave his room. Apparently the rooms are let to social services and house people with mental health issues and other issues. Whilst I understand there is a need for a comparison for these people you cannot allow other customers to be threatened and abused. No owmder is want empty.

You let yourself in by collecting your key from the entrance lobby. Simply furnished (but tasteful) and modern room (we were in one of the attic rooms) with a sea view, large bathroom and very clean. We dined there that evening - delicious food and the service was great. Breakfast was fabulous and again, lovely, friendly service. The hotel is in a really good location in the village with a short walk to the beautiful cove. Definitely would stay there again.

Enjoyed the Sunday lunch as a group of six. Choose meat (one or two of Beef, Pork and Turkey options, or veggie nut roast option. Hot and plentiful. Veggies come in side dish including diving creamed swede with plenty of cream, cauliflower cheese, carrots and peas. Extra gravy and sauces provided on request. Very good value for money £12 each. Desserts great too. Enjoyed the Banoffee waffle. Friendly pub with pool table. Lots of seating both outside and inside. We didn't stay at the hotel.

This is a small town with lovely people. The bed was comfy. The shower was hot. The staff treated me great, however, did close the bar early on me one night since I was the only one there playing pool and drinking after a long long day of site seeing and people watching throughout Cornwall.

We had a delicious Sunday lunch here - we would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. The staff were really friendly. They were able to accommodate special requests and had vegetarian & vegan options on the options. We will be back next time we visit. thanks
