Hotel Senator Munich

Highly recommended, we have spent a week here, the room is very spacious, as is the bathroom, everything is clean and functional. There are no luxuries nor is it necessary because it is comfortable and the heating is great, there is a large balcony that will be great in summer. Breakfast is included in the price and is correct, as befits the level of the hotel. There is no safe or air conditioning. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel is very well connected, I would return without problem

Bathroom dirty, it stayed that way for two and a half days (dead insects, the pot hadn't been cleaned from the inside for ages, mirrors and tiles were dirty). Interior pretty rocked. Pretty loud on the street. Safe was broken, so we wanted to use the hotel safe: to do this, the lady at reception counted our money in front of other guests and noted the other valuables!!! WHERE'S SOMETHING??? Reason: You are personally liable!!! That should be unique in the world!!! Data protection? Dealing seriously with guests? None!!! When we picked up our valuables the next day, they kindly gave us those of other guests as well!!! Around €2000 in cash plus passes and tickets!!! (We kindly pointed out that these things do not belong to us...) Dealing with privacy, personal things and valuables in this way is an absolute cheek and incompetence cannot be surpassed. It doesn't get any worse!!!

A hotel that, although it is not in the center (15 min walk from Karl Platz), is 400 meters away from the U-Bahn (metro) and S-Bahn (train) stations, making it very well connected. Very correct and clean rooms, very complete buffet breakfast for its category. The ht staff is charming and always willing to give all the necessary explanations to the tourist to be able to move around the city. Special mention to Ignacio Ravina, who, being the member of the staff who speaks Spanish, was very attentive indicating places, restaurants, bars and places... A crack of good service! I would do it again just because of how welcoming they made us feel.

It's not a 3 star no joke. As much and being benevolent two, as much. We have spent three nights in this hotel, completely old fashioned, decorated in the 70s and without updating, at least our room was old and certainly depressing. A 15-minute walk from the station, on foot and with suitcases, it has spacious and very clean rooms, with a bathroom, with a simple bar of soap as amenities, with a fridge and TV. The room had a tabletop fan, hilarious... I'm telling you, THE 70'S, and 3 stars nothing at all. Except for the dark-haired lady at the reception who was a bit friendlier, the rest were frankly not very close... a bone, come on. Correct breakfast, brief and with some faults such as there is no toaster, nor fresh fruit, the portions of yogurt are minuscule... My overall score is a 3. We would not repeat it, if this assessment is useful to you.
