Hotel am Nockherberg

The staff were super nice and accommodating. Hotel is a good 3 star, and I have no complaints. Amazing breakfast with different options. The location is just on the out skirts of down town, but you can either walk or take a cheap cab.

Almost every thing was perfect on our side beside there was not a cattle and bed for sleeping was not very comfortable. But it is a perfect place to stay with its location😊😊🙏

24/7 reception and good access to public transport are definitely the plus of this hotel. Also it gives a general clean impression so I would think it was unfortunate that I found the used dental floss of my predecessor hanging on the soap dispenser and the glass in the bathroom had a misteriously sticky part on the rim. For business travel one should be aware that no room has air conditioning, the WiFi Signal is close to non existant in remote rooms and even in the breakfast room. Mobile signal was also weak to non existent. The breakfast is okay without getting enthusiastic about it. Some rooms face a huge car parking/garage area, this becomes noisy in ther morning. Again, for an overnight stay as a tourist acceptable.

Picked this place because of its location in Untergiesing / lower part of Haidhausen, where not too many hotels exist. Location was great, just a few minutes away from the Kolumbusplatz subway station. Main attractions of Munich are within walking distance (20 to 30 minutes). Staff was efficient and friendly. Hotel was clean. Room was dated and relatively small (I had booked a one-person room, though). The hotel is next to a busy train line, so make sure to ask for a room away not facing the rail tracks. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was decent. Internet worked well. Parking is available in the garage next to the hotel at a reduced (?) rate, yet still relatively expensive considering the quiet neighborhood (approx. EUR 20 / night). You might be better off street-parking.

The price was reasonable in comparison to other places in Munich but i was not expecting such a small bed. Im 5"7" and barely fit. If you were over 6' tall you would definitely have issues. The were also not very comfortable and only one pillow. The duvet was nice though. I also was jot expecting a mini single as this is not depicted in the photos. Hair dryer also not very good....glad i had my own. Also, the cleaning staff entered my room without knocking not knowing i was there. Thankfully itvwasnt embarrassing. The staff were friendly though and allowed me a late check-out (1pm) and held my bags until 5pm. Breakfast was also pretty good for being included. I liked that there were healthy options. Overall for the price it was good but I'd probably pay a couple bucks more next time and get closer to the action and a bigger bed next time.

Nice place, clean, staff were friendly. Close to a lot of stuff but quiet.

Overall, very nice stay. I did not give it five stars because the room was a bit stuffy (though there was a window). Also, some of the guests made quite a bit of noise in the hallways, returning late from an evening out; everything echoed. Additionally, a few guests were not wearing masks in the lobby, and this was not questioned by the staff. Delicious breakfast, and very nice, helpful staff. Check-in was very easy. Also, they sell public transportation tickets at the front desk, which is convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and well-located, just minutes from a subway stop.
