The Glenview Hotel & Leisure Club

Had an exceptional night at Glenview Hotel in Wicklow. The soundproofing was excellent, and the pool / sauna / steam room / gym facilities were well kept and varied. While there were many children enjoying the pool, there were also separate adult spaces, such as an outdoor spa pool and a swimming lane separate from the pool by a floating lane divider. Really enjoyed breakfast - plenty of variety - and a tasty tuna melt for a light lunch. The staff were friendly and professional: I'd happily return.

We stayed in the double room with the bed and breakfast package. We was beyond impressed with the room, the food and the service from staff members. There is an excellent dinner menu that is reasonably priced, the staff in the Woodlands Restaurant were incredibly kind and offered complimentary breads and sorbet before our meal. The cooked breakfast menu was also very impressive and the continental breakfast was great. The bar also had a wide selections of fraught beers and cider, spirits, bottles and soft drinks. We also used the leisure club that was incredible. It offered a large pool, multiple jacuzzis, an outdoor hot tub, two cold plunges, a sauna and a steam room. Both the pool area and changing rooms were very clean and well maintained. There is a nice garden at the front of the hotel and a nature trail that we didn’t get to see, but we will certainly be back to Glenview to see them next time.

We visited as a special birthday request and the night was just beautiful. The food was excellent and beautifully presented and the staff service was terrific . The view from upstairs Restaurant was just amazing and we wished we were all staying overnight ! Thank you to the famous chef Sandeep and all the staff for a wonderful experience.

Lovely hotel all the Staff very friendly and pleasant we enjoyed our stay .and would recommend it to everyone. Food very good overall everything was good .lovely walks our in the grounds .

Will not come back to this hotel. Didn't seem to be treated well. Stayed for one week. First time visiting, came to the front desk to ask how to get to the downtown area using the bus routes, were not helpful at all we basically figured everything out on our own. We originally asked for a room with two beds, they gave us one but then the staff came and split the beds apart so we had twin beds. We were on the first floor so it was extremely noisy mainly from staff because this hotel was not busy. We were put directly next to the staff room and all night we heard noise so I didn't rest well. Ate in the restaurant and I was rushed out so fast. As soon as I sat down my order was taken abs then the waiter asked how was I gonna pay, cc or cash so he quickly took my money didn't give me water, I had to ask for it. I told them I wanted to take it to my room, they gave me the heaviest tray to carry all the way to my room, im assuming no to go boxes. One of the staff offered to carry for me which was very kind. This was the worst hotel. Food was just ok. I just didn't feel welcomed here at this hotel. Very different from the downtown area, they are very friendly, helpful. Top service at the downtown restaurants. I will visit Ireland again just not this hotel. Our room seem to be run-down, terrible view and someone left our windows open while we were gone (cleaning crew) . So anyone could come into our room since we were on the 1st floor. Not sure why it was left open, wasn't open while we were there. I will not come back to this hotel
