Nature Zone Jungle Resort

DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT!! We were a party of four in India for 3 weeks from the UK. From the get go, even before we arrived they were rude. Despite telling them we had 8 cases, they sent 1 jeep. I as a female, had to sit next to the driver with the gear stick between my legs-horrendous to start. You are not allowed to drink the alcohol you buy from them in the bar in case it offends the locals. The locals However can play their music loud and all the way through the night. 2 of us struggled to eat the food. The staff don’t appear to know what they are doing. A 90 min trek was marred by one of the staff guides blaring music from his iPhone for the duration of the trip. Horrendous and dangerous pathways up to the ‘lodges’. Rooms dirty, cracked basin I our room. Bathroom floor too slippery, no mats provided. At 2am we were woken by a massive rat in our room. We did not stay the next night, they refused to refund us. We found an amazing hotel nearby, the Panoramic, for the same price -go there instead!!!

Exellent service ,family frndly, good location who like wildlife and trucking or offroad travel. Friendly and responsible staffs including jeep drivers.. food was okey... overall good experience who loves nature . Recomend for all ages.

We planned for honeymoon stay in nature zone, thrilled to experience the jungle feel we went with lot of expectations. Once we reached Munnar we parked our car in dedicated parking lot provided by resort, later an off-road jeep has come to pick up. While on the travel we had great off-road experience, got to explore inner beauty of Munnar, very exciting to travel in jeep it’s like 5km travel from town to resort. We had pleasing welcome from team, they given a walkthrough of the place and their viewpoints. We booked tent room it had great view to the city and mounds. In few time jungle fire surrounded our tent. The situation was bit tricky for admin team to put off the fire. After an hour administration has given tree house for our stay, very happy for that compliment from the team. One could explore the real jungle stay in the Munnar. Birds chipping sounds were top notch. Evening around 5:00 pm we were guided by a guide for lite trekking through tea plantation and we walked around the mountain had great memorable moments. Guides were so friendly and taken good pictures of us. It was awesome to be around the resort. They have provided good campfire and lite music without any restrictions. Food we ordered were up to the mark so nicely served by restaurant person. Morning by 7:00 am we headed for another hill top trekking. It’s a one and half hour walk. Guide accompanied us and many foreigners visited the place, it seems to be second tallest hill compared to anaimudi peak. Fabulous views and sceneries has been experienced. It’s actually a complete set of packages worth the money spending for the resort. You get off-road safari, jungle experience, tree stay, mountain trekking and good food. Even though we were in jungle we felt safe and secured in the stay. We missed to witness wild animals coz of summer. Very helping and friendly service by the team Nature zone jungle resort. Thank you
