"We arrived late and were impressed with the room layout and ease of check-in. The problems started with the hot room that had no AC. We opened the window which helped cool the room, but not the hot bathroom. Then we crawled into bed late at night to find DIRTY sheets - so gross! The sheets were more of a problem because they are a terrible material, like a paper napkin. They were itchy. I’m not sure if it was the material, or something crawling in the dirty sheets but it was a long miserable night…. Well, actually just a long couple hours. The sun comes up at 4am so we wanted to close the shades, which also blocks off the cool air leaving you in a hot room again. THEN the backhoe starts moving bricks right outside your window at 6:10am. It was a miserable, hot, itchy, couple hours of sleep and I would never repeat it! We contacted the hotel and they offered us no refund for our miserable night, but 20% off our next stay. Haha, no! We will never stay there again."

"I stayed one night from Tuesday to Wednesday in March in a reasonably priced, non-smoking single room at the hotel. The room was quite large and very quiet (facing the back). Large, modern bathroom, everything very clean and comfortable. I also ate dinner there; reservations are probably recommended even during the week. Hearty fare, with something for everyone. Breakfast was incredibly affordable! Everything was there: cold cuts, cheese, some cereals, quark/yogurt, bread, and rolls. Eggs from a free-range farm (thank you!). Scrambled or fried eggs were available for a small extra charge. Everything was beautifully presented! I would have appreciated a bit more fresh vegetables (there was cucumber) and fruit, but I understand that this isn't possible at that time of year, given that most guests probably prefer cold cuts and cheese. Still, excellent value for the price! Oh yes, and coffee in all variations from a fully automatic machine. I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again!"

" The hotel was welcoming and our room roomy and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was very good and the location was very good for access to Munster. Our stay was marred though by the very noisy guests, conducting a very loud conversation, with open windows, throughout the evening until after 10. "
