Additional Services: Complimentary services like gaiter provision, boot cleaning, and fire-starting in rooms were recurring positives. The lodge's ability to accommodate groups, families, and special requests (e.g., dietary preferences) further enhanced its appeal.

I didn’t want to leave Ingagi! I stayed 3 nights to do the gorilla trekking, golden monkeys hike and also a bike ride. I was the only one there for 2 out of the 3 days since it was the low/rainy season and felt so spoiled by the hospitality and warmth of the staff! It did rain but I got lucky and none of my activities were affected by the rain. Daniel helped me book everything and obtain my gorilla trekking permit before I arrived which made things a lot easier. He even upgraded me once I got there which made my stay one I will never forget! He also helped me arrange all transportation from the airport and also to and from the gorilla trekking area (you will need to arrange transportation). All of the staff were amazing — Julius, Egide and Godereva were the ones I interacted with the most. The food was delicious! And having the fires at night along with the hot water bottles helped keep me warm. I was initially a bit worried about having the fires (it was mainly wood with some coal I think) since I have asthma but there was no smoke or fumes that irritated me so I welcomed them every night. It was so relaxing to fall asleep with a bit of the fire still going. The foot massage and shoe cleaning post gorilla trekking was a really nice touch. My shoes were nearly unrecognizable after all the mud during the gorilla trekking but Godereva somehow worked her magic and they looked brand new again! Being able to see the gorillas and stay at such a beautiful place with wonderful staff made this part of my trip beyond perfect!

Beautifully taken care of lodge with individual houses for privacy. Delicious food, kind and caring staff. Grounds are landscaped to a tee and views are extraordinary. Close to the gorillas and monkeys. Walking distance to Dian Fossey museum.

Great stay - this is a great hotel with great service. We stayed 4 nights on a full board basis and enjoyed the hotel as well as the activities that the Volcanoes National Park has to offer. We were upgraded to the villa and found it luxurious as well as charming, with log fires in our rooms and deep comfortable beds. The gardens are so beautiful - we walked around them - and the food, much of which is grown in the gardens, was outstanding. The staff are really very helpful and nice. And they clean your boots for free after you return from the gorilla trek -- they have a magic touch -- my well worn hiking boots looked brand new. Will certainly return and would recommend highly to anyone else.

Egide, Divine, Joseline and Fabrice made our stay at Ingagi Park View Lodge from South Africa so wonderful. They looked after us with such care, and warmth! Our best part was the proximity to the Volcanoes National Park, as well as the small (but huge!) touches like our fire place already lit in our room after a long day out and our shoes being cleaned and dried after our gorilla treks. The beautiful energy of the hotel, and the views at any meal were surreal. We will definitely be back. Thank you all!! Evan and Cassi

We spent 3 nights at the lodge. Let me describe the experience: 1. Start with an early breakfast that you select from a menu. 2. Have the staff put on your gaiters for the trek. 3. After the gorilla or monkey trek, return to a foot massage and lunch while the staff cleans your shoes. 4. Take a short rest and go to the lounge for a beverage while watching the sun set behind the volcanos. 5. Enjoy a delicious dinner and retire to your room where the staff set a fire in your fireplace. 6. Go to bed where the staff has placed "bush babies" (hot water bottles) in your bed and sleep like a baby. it's a wonderful place with great food, large and beautiful rooms, and excellent service. We loved it!

I can’t say enough great things about this exceptional place! Everything was above and beyond expectation; from the surrounding Mountain View’s, the gardens, the gorgeous and cozy lodge, the beautiful rooms, wonderful meals (an excellent chef), hot water bottles in your bed, fire in your fireplace, foot massage after a gorilla trek and the utmost attention from every single staff member - this place is amazing! It is so close to Volcanoes National Park and the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Center, if you want to go on a gorilla trek this is where you should stay! I want to come back again!!

We spent two nights at Ingagi Park while exploring Volcanoes National Park, and it was such a wonderful experience. The lodge is beautiful — the lounge overlooks the volcanoes, and the food is delicious. The staff truly make the difference; they’re so kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Our room was spacious and cozy, complete with a fireplace and a bush baby visitor at night! We also loved the massage — highly recommended. The team even provided gaiters and cleaned our boots after the gorilla and monkey treks. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and were sad to say goodbye.
