We spent an absolutely wonderful tonight at the Lodge. The food was very good the coffee, exceptional, and the staff outstanding. Samuel at the front desk went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and extra special. If we make it back to Rhonda to see the gorillas, we will definitely look forward to spending a couple of nights at the Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Tiloreza SO much, we were sad to leave. It was our favourite stay in Rwanda! The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable and the outdoor garden is incredible. There are tons of adorable birds to watch and take photos of or enjoy while you're eating in the restaurant (which an incredible view of the volcanoes). As vegetarians, we were pleasantly surprised to find that on all the menus, there were tons of veggie options and all were incredible. Our favourites were the daily soups that I already miss eating every day. The staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming and always made sure we were taken care of. We wish we were closer so we could visit! Thank you Tiloreza for everything.

Wonderful hotel. Food was delicious and the staff were so helpful. Rooms were great and a hot water bottle was placed in the sheets to warm the bed before bedtime! One staff member took us on a walking tour of the area around the hotel. Highly recommended.

Staying at Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge was a wonderful experience! The accomodation was luxurious and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully decorated with native flora. The staff were attentive and kind and the food was delicious! The approximation to the Volcanoes National Park was ideal and the staff supported us on our trek by providing snacks and equipment. On return, they even cleaned our footwear! Highly recommend! Cannot wait to return!

Super neat outdoor resturant amongst the tree tops. Watch the black headed weavers make their nest. Service is amazing! Room had some kind of toilet leaking issue. Water was on the floor making it slippery. We asked for a safe- they carried a safe to our room that we could not open. Very safe hotel. Room had no where to sit other than on bed. Asked for chairs outside room like other rooms had. They put some dinning chairs outside to accommodate. ( I think we got the cheese ball room; other rooms looked more spacious and had out door seating) Nice spa services. Close to everything. Nice view of the volcanoes!

Tiloreza is a gem. The staff goes out of their way to anticipate every need. For example, after a muddy hike they are waiting with flip flops and take and clean your shoes. The food is excellent and served in an intimate setting. The rooms are lovely. The hotel is conveniently located for gorilla trekking or any other activity in the area. What really makes this such a special place is the staff who are warm, welcoming and sincere. I highly recommend!

Came from DRC to take a break from misoginist men who treat women like we have no role in society....to arrive to Tiloreza to find exactly the same: was called a liar by Mr Festus for saying that a certain Mike sent an email with a rate of 160 USD for single despite me insisting that I would share the email with him as proof. Nevermind. You won't change the mind of a man who thinks women cannot speak, think or say the truth. And a woman who's angry at a man dismissing her gets labeled as crazy. Because she dared raise her voice to a man. On top of that, we "discovered" there were cheaper smaller rooms but we were never told of their existence. Problem is: accommodation in Rwanda is expensive for what you get and near the Volcanoes National Park is even more so. For the rest: The staff are really nice, friendly and attentive. The food was very good. But I'd suggest you get one of the cheaper lodges closer to the park.

This is a comfortable, convenient, peaceful inn on the outskirts of Volcano National Park. The staff was friendly and genuine. We slept well on their comfortable beds. The rooms were handsome and roomy. The pool was refreshing. We ate our breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Our guides had scoured the other restaurants un the area, but reported that we were best off eating in. The food featured local dishes and fruit, but was varied enough for the picky eaters in our group. The provided gaiters and walking sticks and washed on mud-caked shoes when we returned. Did a bit of laundry- cheap and fast! The grounds were lovely for a small inn.

This hotel is full of kind people who will take care of you from the minute you check-in until you leave! The room is really big and clean…and one of the best things about this hotel, next to the great staff, is they have the best food!! The chefs at this hotel are top notch, everything I’ve had has been so delicious and tasty, thank you all. I loved my stay here!
