The Solitaire Resort

I had the worst experience in my entire life that I booked this hotel. I booked the hotel from 26-27 of this month. The ambience of the hotel is way too bad not welcoming at all and the staff they have hired is not even graduated from the hospitality industry. The staff behaves like they are some sort of goons working there. The food is way too crappy. The rooms are filthy with cockroaches in washrooms and there was a mouse in my room too. The chairs are broken and the almirahs were not clean, the table in the room was not in a good situation. We had a very very awful experience with the hotel while checking out in which my privacy was breached. On the day of checkout my friend booked two rooms for in which one was for me and the other was for him. They checked out at the reception and they have given their room number for the check out procedure but the hotel staff has added my room number for the checkout as the booking was under my friends name without confirming for our room number if we were ready for making the checkout. I was still in my room and getting dressed but the hotel staff came to my room and they opened my room with the master key without knocking the door or ringing the bell or prior checking that someone might be in the room. I was very furious about it that how they can come and open the room like this. When confronted then the hotel staff told that they have received the message for the checkout. The room was opened by Bobby seems to be an uneducated staff who was unaware of the rules followed during the procedure and doesn’t seems to be professional at all ***** and was also having a laugh about the situation. with Sunil Rana who was badly dressed and claims to be room attendants. They opened my room and I was half dressed they just pushed the door open as if they have done it intentionally. By good god’s grace it was me it could have been my partner also when they opened the door. I asked them to call the manager for housekeeping he didn’t come but the front office manager came Gaurav Pandey and he acted like he is a goon and behaved very unprofessionally and was continuously staring at me with an attitude that he can do anything he wants or I guess was provoking me to do something. I told him to not stare at me but he was very rude and told me I won’t do it. They have breached the privacy of the guest (Me) and yet had a feeling of being a Gunda. Then he left and then the operations manager came to my room Sachin Chaudhary who was apologetic but seems to be doing just for the sake of saving the hotel reputation I went at the reception and met the housekeeping manager Sunil Pawar and I asked him why you didn’t come up and he was standing blank without answers. I was continuously telling the operations manager to call the General Manager of the hotel Raqib Iqbal to which the staff told me that he isn’t available in the hotel and then after asking them ample number of times they told that he is in his house and wo

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful stay at Solitaire Resort, Mussoorie. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was polite and attentive, and the scenic views were absolutely beautiful. Great hospitality, delicious food, and a peaceful atmosphere made our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

Pros: ​Perfect Location: Situated just before Mall Road, which is a massive plus because you completely bypass the heavy traffic jams that people staying further up have to deal with. ​Stunning Views: Every single room offers an incredible view and a beautiful valley experience. ​Great Food & Service: The food quality was excellent, and the room service was incredibly fast. ​Incredibly Family-Friendly: We traveled with our 2-year-old, and the hotel provided complimentary milk and food for our child without charging us a single penny. ​Wonderful Staff (Mostly): The team was highly cooperative. A special shoutout to Manisha at the reception, who made our check-in seamless, fast, and even offered us a room upgrade! ​Cons: ​Unprofessional Checkout Experience: The only reason I am deducting a star is due to a front-desk receptionist named VEER. During checkout at 12:00 PM, I explained that we were waiting on a food order from the hotel's restaurant. He rudely told me to cancel the food order and vacate the room within 15 minutes. Even after explaining that I have a toddler and it was pouring rain outside, his behavior remained rigid and unprofessional. ​Suggestions: Aside from this one individual(VEER), we loved everything about this resort. I highly suggest the management train or hire front-desk staff who understand customer care, as the hotel's reputation relies heavily on the people representing it. Thank you to the rest of the team for an otherwise great stay!

This hotel is a fraud. I went there and my booking was suddenly cancelled and I had to stay outside for one night. I had given advance but despite that my booking was cancelled.

Old room, dirty linen and ok type food. Not recommend to anyone. Some rooms have very good valley view. Central reservation team is not keeping able to provide service as per booking.

I am a frequent visitor to Mussoorie due to my commitments and have stayed in several hotels across the town. Unfortunately, this has been one of my most disappointing hotel experiences in Mussoorie. My booking was clearly for a valley view room with a balcony, but the room provided had no balcony and was heavily infested with large houseflies, making the stay extremely uncomfortable. Housekeeping took almost two hours to attend to the issue, and even after cleaning, the problem was only partially resolved. I must acknowledge that the housekeeping and restaurant staff were polite and helpful, but the overall room condition and failure to honour the booked room category was quite disappointing.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff and the manager are rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Guests were abused verbally, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. No hospitality, no respect, and zero accountability. Strongly not recommended.
