Stayed in the hotel for 1 Night with family ( Kids) , I am a Gold Elite Member for Marriott. Check-in Experience - The check-in was smooth, the rooms were ready and they upgrade one out of two rooms with the mountain view. Welcome drink was served. I found the lobby entrance a bit crowded, there is a Bar in there, some shopping area and it seems like a LOT of people were there. The tool a pre-auth on the card ( which they did not settle against the final bill ) Rooms, stay and activities - Everything about the rooms was great, neat and clean, had balconies to sit outside, minibar etc. There were a LOT of activities ( Both Complementary and paid ) , one can really enjoy , 100% marks to JW for these. Food - We had food in JW Cafe, one of the other cafe's was closed. There was NO Buffet for dinner, buffet was only available for morning breakfast. The food was Good, we tried some local mountain food and was well made. Service at dinner could have been better. Breakfast experience was really good Check-out - This was the most disappointing part. First of all, they did NOT adjust the pre-auth taken on the card towards the bill, they should be aware of pre-auth on card taken for the rooms and adjust or cancel those if they are using separate billing. Second, I did not see the Dinner bill posted, so I raised the concern about it, they found the bill and started to but BLAIM on us that we gave the wrong room numbers !!!, was totally surprised, If I had given the wrong room numbers, then why will I fix it during check-out ?? It was clearly overlook at their end and they should have just acknowledged that, instead of blaming the customer, not a experience that I want to remember. Thanks to the breakfast team and housekeeping for taking care during the stay.
