This property is situated in the middle of market. The interior gives old Dehradun vibe and this somehow gives nostalgia. As expected, Sarovar maintains the standard from room to ambience. Room - We opted standard option which was nice, cozy and had plenty of space for luggage. What we like in Sarovar, they never charge heavily as compared to other brands in same category! Small issue we had was with AC, because it kept getting warm, even after adjusting the temperature. Secondly, geyser took more than expected time. After 1st bath, they mentioned water will be warm again within 5-7 minutes. But after waiting for 10-15 minutes, there was not much difference. Food - So, you can enjoy the lunch/dinner in room only. Because unlike other properties, they serve food within 15-20 minutes. Also helps in keeping food hot and fresh. We ordered sandwich with fries and surprisingly, everything was crisp as well. Breakfast was in restaurant area (buffet style) and there were good and general options. But they taste great as well! Ambience - As I mentioned, it gives old Dehradun vibe. The hotel is quiet, cozy and warm. Since the hotel is situated in the market, so you can enjoy the local area as well.
