Best Hotels in Naarden, Netherlands

The room we were given was one for people with a disability, which meant it was very spacious. The decor was nice, the beds comfortable, although a little soft. The bathroom was also spacious and had everything a disabled person would need. It didn't bother us we were staying in this room. We didn't have breakfast but had a coffee which was good. Because this room is on the ground floor just behind reception and next to the breakfast room we did experience noise. There is a 24-hour coffee and tea making facility in the breakfast room which is great. However, when we were staying, there were people in there even in the middle of the night, as we could hear the chairs being used (scraping sound which was very audible in our room). That got worse when breakfast service really started in the morning. It made sleeping a little challenging. We would stay here again, but would definitely ask for a room on a higher floor and further away from the breakfast room. Check in and out was quick and easy and staff were friendly.

All are good, the price is not expensive, the room is generous, the floor to ceiling windows are good. Clean and hygienic, the service has a smile. The room is the same as the picture, elegant and spacious

The staff is very friendly. We arrived at 19.50 at old year evening and wanted to eat, which could actually be up to 20 hours. After a call by the receptionist to the kitchen we were welcome. At the restaurant we were so friendly received, despite the fact that we were finished working. It was a good start of our stay. We will certainly come back!!

From the Amsterdam train station by train for half an hour, Amsterdam's downtown price is very expensive, you can only choose here, the facilities are very good, met an old man living near the hotel, he is a teacher, likes to communicate, share with him For my trip, he shared with me that he has never been married, has no children, and wants to go wherever he goes, hahaha. I looked at my family's tricky child and said it was speechless.

We used the Gooic Women's Arrangement with eight girlfriends last weekend, and we were very welcome. The service of all staff (from reception to kitchen and service, from housekeeping to management) is fantastic. You see and feel that everyone has a heart for the business and simply made for the hostship. The hotel is located in the ideal location. Both close to the outdoors and the beautiful nature of Hilversum. The beds were also beautiful. In short, we can recommend this hotel to everyone

We have stayed here before when visiting friends in Lelystad. We'd recommend the fourth floor where we had a large room with a walk in shower. That mattered to us. The bed is huge and comfortable. The decor is very ”brown” with poor lighting. This doesn't matter when your eyes are closed in sleep! So if you are doing other things and only want to stay for a good night's sleep we'd recommend this hotel. We booked directly with the hotel and it was very good value. Uber is useless in Lelystad so ask reception if you need a taxi.

Stay away from this hotel and run as far as possible away is my advice. They took my money after over 9weeks! I booked this hotel on the 25th of May for 23-26 of June which at the time was 1month away. I cancelled immediately after booking and it was free cancellation, I cancelled because I found another hotel closer the family I was visiting. All the booking were made of booking.com on the same day. Cancellation was in fact within 10min. Anyway on the 5th August, I saw €380 deducted from my account from Bastion Hotel that was already cancelled. €380 after almost 10weeks! That is fraud! Booking.com said they cannot do anything and that property process payment, property said it say non refundable on booking which was a lie, I asked how come they are taking money after 10week, the hotel did not answer any of my emails. It is either they have employed someone that specialises in fraudulent transaction or they are just thief. Just run away from this hotel. THE CANCELLATION SAYS FREE CANCELLATION ON THE DAY AND IT WAS 4 WEEKS AWAY. I BOOKED ANOTHER HOTEL ON SAME 25TH OF MAY APPROX 10MIN AFTER THE BOOKING WAS CANCELLED ON SAME BOOKING.COM. JUST SUDDENLY ON THE 5TH OF AUGUST WHICH IS 71 DAYS AFTER, I SAW €380 TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT FROM BASTION HOTEL, I CONTACTED MY BANK AND WAS TOLD THEY HAVE ACCESS BECAUSE I PUT MY BANK DETAILS FOR BOOKING BUT THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN MONEY SINCE IT WAS CANCELLED. I CONTACTED BOOKING.COM AND WAS REDIRECTED TO THE HOTEL. THE HOTEL DID NOT RESPOND TO EMAIL NOR ANSWER MY CALLS AND BOOKING.COM SAID THEY REQUESTED A WAIVE BUT THE PROPERTY SAID NO. I ASKED WHY AFTER 71 DAYS BUT NO RESPONSE. PLS RUN 🏃‍♂️ AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. ONCE THEY HAVE ACCESS TO UR ACCOUNT THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT NOTICE. This is a lovely hotel and does not deserve the dreadful review I read on Trip adviser. The rooms were of a very good size, fresh and clean with comfortable beds. The location is excellent, right next to the Marina. Food and drink was excellent and the staff very pleasant.

I booked a suite for about 170 Euro's or so on sunday. When I arrived the window in the room was broken and covered with a milk stain sticker but in a way that you still saw the shards and it blocked the view. You couldn't avoid it from any angle really. Because the room is built around the view. Furthermore there were sigaret buds on the balkony and a bottle that was used as an ashtray. I immediately took pictures of this so its time stamped. Also paid 17.50 for a breakfast p.p. so thats 35 euro's. However because no-one else was having the breakfast they whatsapped me in the evening to ask if they could deliver it to the room. I didnt want to cause food wastage but it was a laughing stock compared to what you could expect from a buffet especially for the price. (Btw the walls could use a paint job, wasn't gonna go off on that one but might aswell drop it) The staff didnt take my complaint serious at all! But seeying other reviews about black mold in rooms it doesnt suprise me. (And actually gives me the strenght to make an official complaint after this. Because its theft, you promise something with pictures but then dont deliver it) The only reason I can't give a 1 star is because the bathroom was amazing (well the tap for the bathroom was wobbly. But the plants next to the bath tubs are real plants. So that view was simply amazing, the lobby also has this!) Overall. They need maintenance asap.
