It's was the most unfortunate stay in years of my travellings. This hotel is definitely foreigner-unfriendly, so unless you're a Japanese you won't get any assistance from the staff. Receptionists don't speak English and are no help in solving the easiest tasks. It took me about 20-30 minutes to check in for the receptionist was somehow confused by my passport and visa or couldn't find a booking I made months in advance. She was running back and forth trying to understand what a Multiple visa type means. Also, I wasn't allowed to go to my room before the check-in time which is 3 p.m. I need to say that's the first time I face such kind of attitude. Even in the tiniest hotels all over the world when you arrive a bit early, let's say 20 or 30 minutes before the official check-in time, you're always welcome to proceed straight to your room for everyone understands that long journeys might be exhausting and visitors would like to have a rest asap. Here guests had to wait in the lobby like fools exactly until it turned 3 p.m. Far from getting any help in transferring my suitcase to the airport I was given misleading information from the staff, spent a lot of time trying to figure out the ways I could send my luggage and finally was refused and had to carry a heavy bag myself. There is no phone in the room so to ask any question you have to go down to the front desk which is extremely uncomfortable. It appeared that the hotel is located in a port so instead of seaside view you'll get a view of a port bay. What is more, large windows don't make sense at all since everything that happens in your room is visible from the deck and lobby. You won't be able enjoy the view from the balcony because there are no chairs there. However, the most disappointing this is the presence of insects in rooms and public places. So even if you don't open windows according to a sign in the room, you're not protected from very unpleasant insect neighbors. Saying I was disappointed is nothing. I love Japan and it was my third trip to this country but the stay in this hotel spoiled all the holiday mood.

The hotel is within 5-10 minutes to town on foot. Wouldn't say the location is that good and in general we are happy with our stay.
