The staff were faultless!!
However there were far too many mosquitoes to enjoy our stay- we had stayed in Nadi prior to this for the same amount of time and had 0 problems, same in one of the islands- no bites… here however we had over 20 between two of us from one night. Perhaps they could have repelling candles on the outdoor seating areas, and fly catchers elsewhere, but something needs to be done in this season!
I found it overpriced for the experience, the food was average and not worth the cost, there was a cockroach and lizard in our room- I would say the roofs need looking at/ re sealing.
The interconnecting rooms are NOT soundproof and you can hear everything from next door. We asked to move and were so with 0 hassle- again the staff were ALL absolutely amazing!!!

This hotel is quite unique! You have to take a speedboat every time you enter and leave, which is an interesting touch. The food and accommodation are also very comfortable. The overall environment of the hotel is elegant and charming, with the constant sounds of birds and blooming flowers, making it a quiet and cozy place.

The service was extremely poor and deeply disappointing. When we tried to connect to the internet, we were being charged for it, which was frustrating enough. What made the situation far worse was the complete lack of response from the staff. We called the reception repeatedly—over 30 times—and not a single call was answered.
To make matters even more distressing, my daughter was injured in the swimming pool area due to unsafe conditions. There was a loose manhole cover, and her leg slipped into it, causing her to sprain her leg. As parents, this was terrifying and completely unacceptable.
Despite the seriousness of the incident, we were ignored while trying to seek help. We logged an incident report, yet no one ever followed up with us. This level of negligence, poor service, and lack of concern for guest safety is unacceptable.

You will have to catch a small boat, that will escort you to double tree, 30 security and away. We arrived after schoolies had finished in double tree so there was a little bit of lack of cleanliness, our room had ants coming from the switch port and the floor was a little dirty, mainly cause of the sand.
It is such a beautiful place, it is definitely a group retreat, but unfortunately we arrived on a low occupancy time frame so it was quite dead, which is during end of November, and the first week of December. As we left it was picking up.
The staff were great, the food was good but not enough variety due to the low occupancy.
But an amazing place, would book again but during peak season.

You had to take their boat to go opposite island, where the resort is. Allow early check in, free wifi only at public area, not in room.

It was an average experience, but for the premium price charged by the resort, the service wasn’t up to Hilton standards. Three key issues:
1. We asked for dental kits from four different people at different times, the housekeeping staff asked us to check with the office. We even went to the reception to collect it ourselves but they said the housekeeping staff will bring it to the room but again, nobody turned up. 3 days, and no dental kits whatsoever. We ended up buying our own from the stores inside.
2. The biggest issue we had was with the TVs. There was no TV signal throughout the resort, they said they had a technical error but there was no action taken my anyone. I asked the reception team to put me through to the duty manager but I was not provided any details. Extremely disappointed, kids were bored in the room without tv and there was no alternative provided, not even an apology was provided. I tried to provide direct feedback instead of writing it here, but ended up waiting at the reception until I gave up. 3 days were enough here, next time I’ll be going to another resort.
3. Beach is not really a beach, it’s all rocks with a small section towards the end of the resort that can be called a beach but very murky water. If you’re looking for clear Fijian waters, this is not the right place.
Good things about the resort:
1. Excellent breakfast options, great staff, especially Anu who always greeted us with a smile.
2. Great pool areas for kids, and decent a la carte menu options
3. Theme nights were beautiful, we attended Fridays gala night and Saturdays fire dance shows, spectacular food and amazing performances.

Pros:
Resort vibes. Along the coast. Great sunset. Nice swimming pool. In-house activities for kids.
Cons:
Extremely high amounts of mosquitos. Repeated breakfast items over 5 mornings. Unhelpful staff, especially the porter who did not want to help us move our luggage (10 pcs) at 11pm. He had sent the wrong luggage to the wrong rooms, but was unwilling to rectify the issue. Rooms that need to be repaired (TV not working, fan not working, aircon not cold, fridge not working, etc).

The stay here was lovely, wonderful. Clean place. Great service, very friendly and helpful staff. The only issue we had was the phone calls to reception was not answered. Unsure why but it would ring and ring and ring and no one picks up. As we were abit far from the reception area... Im an emergency it could be a problem. Luckily there was none but I think they need to look into it.Luckily there was none but I think they need to look into it. But otherwise we had a great stay.. I would recommend the massage too... Best decision we could have made. The girls did great.

I think the hotel overall is pretty good. The breakfast was good, the TAVU restaurant which serves grill food was excellent. The view from the hotel is definitely great. However, WIFI service has to be charged, the dinner buffet was disappointed and horrible, and more importantly the hotel itself is kinda old that the facilities in the room are broken or nearly broken. Definitely renovation is needed.

The bure was a lovely unique mix of modern facilities and a nice bungalow aesthetic. The staff were very friendly and the resort is very nice at night but if you're heading into town or to Port Denarau do be prepared for significant taxi fares.

Quite happy with my stay, Doubletree is ideal for a solo retreat in a quiet place or for family, you’ll find both peace and leisure activities for families. Excellent service and helpful staff, I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it, the staff accommodated me with early checkout and late breakfast.
