Dormy Inn Hotels in Nagano

One of the better hotel of our japan road trip. Room was huge and comfy. Our kid was trilled when we got the view of the train station. Breakfast was wonderful too. Not to mention sake included in the breakfast. Parking was a breeze right below the hotel.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was a really clean and comfortable hotel and just a 7 minute walk from Nagano Station, a 7 minute walk to bus stop 23 for the Snow Monkey Park and close to a variety of restaurants and bars. It is also 15/20 minutes to Zenko-Ji which is a beautiful Buddhist temple and well worth visiting. We didn’t have breakfast included during our stay but other guests said that it was really good. Our room was really clean, spacious and comfortable with a firm mattress, a tv, toiletries and a kettle. In reception you can help yourself to teas, coffee and other toiletries for free which was helpful. The staff were really friendly and patient as we don’t speak Japanese. Our room was next to the railway line but the sound proofing was excellent and it was so quiet and we had two good nights of sleep. A comfortable and clean hotel that is conveniently located for exploring Negano.

It is very close to JR Nagano Station, and it is easy to find with the navigation. The staff are very friendly. Although they don't have Chinese, they can communicate in English without barriers. They also told me how to get to M-wave. Even if you can't check in early, you can store your luggage and help deliver to the room you will prepare afterwards. Drink from the beverage machine in the lobby, thank you, uncle, for teaching me how to use it (laughs). If I booked a room without breakfast, I still gave a breakfast voucher. I stayed the night before the test. It was saved because it was a hotel that can park for free near the test venue. However, there are few convenience stores and places to eat around the accommodation, so I think it is better to buy it in advance or eat at the store adjacent to the hotel. It was along the national highway, and sometimes I heard the sound when a noisy car passed by. The building is old, but there was an air purifier and there were many outlets, so I was saved.

I stayed here for 4 nights in November and booked it because it's close to the station. It was also quite cheap (£180 for the 4 nights). The welcome was warm on arrival and every time I went in or out. They knew who I was...never had to give my name or room number. Was probably the only gaijin staying at that time. My room was small as I expected and the bed was comfortable. It had a window that opened but since I appeared to be in the path of a kitchen extractor fan I didn't open it as it stank my room out and it was really noisy. The room was clean but very worn and dated. Everything in the hotel was seriously worn out...really rough around the edges. There was a free breakfast provided, but it finished early so I never made it down in time (I was on holiday after all). If I were in Nagano again, I might stay again but would look at other options first.

The rooms are clean and convenient. The bathtub is deep. The public bath is for men only, but they provide bath salts, so it was nice to be able to take a relaxing bath. It's also good that the breakfast menu changes when you stay for several nights. I was given a can of beer after I did some light cleaning for several nights.

I should have booked ”no smoking” from the official site of the inn, but I received a ”smoking” in the reservation completion email, and I called the front desk while tilting my neck, and I received a guide that there was no non smoking room. Crying crying even though the budget is over＋ I switched to the room called J floor for 1,000 yen, and this was unexpectedly a ”hit” judgment. It was a good Nagano trip 々. ＜J Floor Features＞ Room is clean and spacious, air conditioning and futons are usually costing anime tea Although it is not a dripping type, it seems that it was developed with the manufacturer and the chitin. I checked in at about 15:00 and felt that I should have enjoyed it. Also, the face washing form is not clearly cheap. The comb is also easy to use with both rough eyes and a little fine, and it is a room with a lot of happy measures for women. On the other hand, the J floor sells the good view, and the view is certainly good, but I think it is NG to ask for the beauty of nature (mountain and tree) because Nagano city itself is a city. ＜ The atmosphere of the whole hotel ＞ Because of the business hotel and the JAL series, there are many guests who seem to be business trips, and tourist guests are also more calm. Inevitably, the dining hall was also calm and quiet. ＜ Dinner ＞ 3 kinds of appetizers, fried fin soup, seafood, water dumplings, Shinshu premium beef suji steak, black fried soy sauce, almond tofu [Chinese full course] Both menus are delicious beyond the price It was not a feeling of ”excellent”, but it is arranged in the taste that everyone receives in the price that is sufficiently reached, and it is hard and delicious and the satisfaction is very high. Now there are some prefectures, and in the future, we will do it nationwide, so the restaurant here is absolutely the aim. If you say strong, it is not for those who want to peek into the dishes with young and giggling. ＜ Breakfast ＞ Japanese and Western mixed cherry blossoms with local ingredients Viking form Business hotels have a large number of items, and there is no misunderstanding in the range of eating. There are several videos that you're introducing, so please refer to them.I liked ”handmade ume-name mushroom”, ”tempura”, ”miso wae of soba fruit” and ”oyaki” privately. The dishes related to miso are using Shinshu miso and you can enjoy ”Nagano no Taste”, so I think you should try at least one kind. (I'm lost whether I can write my true sound, but it's better to eat at this hotel than eat at the outside shop) Nagano Station ～ Based on the good location between Zenko Ji Temple, I think it was a very good hotel. Next time I go sightseeing in Nagano, I will not dare to change the inn from here.

It is located right from JR Nagano Station and you don't need an umbrella because you can use the underground passage when it rains. Tokyu Department Store and Station Building are also adjacent, and there is also a agricultural cooperative shop right next door, so I changed local apples and vegetables cheaply. The room was bright, spacious and clean, quiet and comfortable despite the station. The breakfast was large and the seasoning was good and delicious. I was able to stay at a good price by utilizing the national travel discount, but I would like to choose this place next time I stay in Nagano.
