This hostel is really unique. I loved feeling like I was staying in the bush as I looked out at the trees through my window in the morning. It was pretty cold and there's no heating in the room, so I struggled to get out of bed, but the bedding kept me warm enough throughout the night. Unfortunately, they didn't have a kettle in the room to help keep me warm with a little hot water, but they did give me a thermos of hot water from the restaurant when I asked about it. The shower also never remained warm for long.
These shortcomings were made up for by the unique environment and the wonderful views up at the restaurant/communal area. On the last day, I could see the Himalayas clearly from there. It was beautiful. There is also a great variety of reasonably priced food at the restaurant.
The hotel is also about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and 10 minutes walk in the other direction is a great place to view the sunrise. The staff were happy to help out and give directions when I asked. Of course, it would have been even nicer if they had offered some of that information on my arrival rather than waiting for me to ask.
Overall, a great place to stay!

Very helpful and friendly staff.
The hotel had a great view and you could see the Himalayas.
The starry sky was beautiful at night.
I also appreciate the hospitality of the staff.
The cafe space was also very nice and I was always able to relax.
I was based in Thamel but came to this hotel three times.
There is also a place where you can see the sunrise if you walk a little.
I will definitely visit again. Thank you!

We just did this less than two weeks ago. This should not be missed on your trip to Victoria, if you are here during the summer when the flowers are blooming in July or early August. The gardens, blooms and water features are spectacular. If you have kids, make sure you don't miss the carousel behind the rose gardens. It is only 2 CAD per rider, and if you are a parent, they do not charge you if your child is small and needs supervision. Our grand daughter absolutely loved it! They have a few restaurants and refreshment places onsite including ice cream, coffee, and sit down food and large nice gift shop. The park is clean and well worth the money. If you drive yourself, the cost is only about $31 per adult USD.

Found my way here via a two-day mountain biking excursion. It's an amazing location with views of the Himalayas. Loved the cozy grounds and vibe of the restaurant. I can't speak for the other rooms, but I stayed in a super rustic stand alone hut. Far from Hilton, but that's what I was looking for. And, apparently cool people have discovered this location.... Met an adventurous family from Denmark and chatted with someone who just gave a TED talk.

Greedy and corrupt although the view is nice , waste of money. We wanted to have dinner at the end but they force us to eat at the beginning when we have just arrived there and started to BBQ , beside our room was wreckless and noisy af like fighting and shouting

Nature lovers and private hypocrites will love the place. Cycling and reaching the destination is more of a fun if you are interested in taking the hard way. Otherwise if you are interested even a public bus can take you near the place. If you are here in Kathmandu and you want to escape the city and day-cation its the best

The hotel has rooms for everyone, from cheap huts to expensive condo types. Hence, the crowd is mixed, ie, if you want a quiet time, maybe this is not the right place for you because there's always a group of young people getting drunk and making a scene. Similarly, the restaurant's price isn't worth it as both the service and food were not up to the standard. One of the staff was asked to set the table for us and he just had a bad attitude about it. Similarly, we ordered fries and they couldn't even mix mayo and ketchup well.

It’s pretty basic but that’s reflected in the price, the staff are great and it’s a beautiful location. Rooms were clean but not heated but we were warm enough with the duvets and the bar and restaurant is good. The courtyard offers amazing views of the surrounding mountains and forest. The only negative was that the shower was poor with terrible water pressure – but then it is up a mountain so couldn’t really complain. Despite that, I’d be more than happy to stay here again. There’s not a huge amount to do in Nargakot apart from admire the views and go for walks. With a young family, trekking wasn’t an option, but we did do the nature trail which was relatively easy going and took about an hour and a half (with a stop off for a beer and a Coke). Trail starts at the bottom of the hill, just before the school. When you get to the road at the end of the forest section, turn right and it will bring you back to the hotel.

Had the honor to sleep on a already humid and rotten mattress in a wooden tipi. At first, I thought the experience would be nice, but turns out its infested with mices, spiders and I also got bit by a tick and some followed me home. The girl in the tipi room next to me also had her bag broken into by mices. Food is average and kinda expensive, but they also make sure to hit you with a 26% overcharge afterward, making it way too expensive for what you get. Owner was really nice, but still it wasn’t enough for me to keep a positive memory of that place.

Manager Oasis and his brother run this hotel, located on top of the mountain with a fantastic view of the Himalayas, in a very special and individual way for each guest - the rooms are clean and nicely furnished, the culinary interior of the restaurant is reminiscent of a stylishly furnished, cozy lodge and the large outdoor terrace offers sun and unforgettable mountain views all day long. The most priceless thing, however, is the spirit that the hotel and the staff exude!
