Harper Premier Nagoya Batam by ASTON

1st time in batam and also the 1st time staying in Harper Premier Batam. Overall is good but the room amenities should be improved, should have pen or pencil with paper included inside the room amenities, we came down to front office to ask for a hotel pen but they informed not provided instead we buy from 24hrs supermart. Daily refilling only free mineral water but not the coffee tea sachet and fresh towels When we checked into the room, we found the only coconut water with an empty packet inside the refrigerator. We came down to check with the front office about the items chargeable. only the informed certain items are chargeable, including the coconut packet inside the mini refrigerator. We informed them about the EMPTY packet inside the refrigerator, and they noted only. We do not want later when check out the hotel charges us for the empty packet which we didn't consume. In the 1st place why they don't explain when we checked in what inside the room, especially what items are chargeable and the next days until the check out the empty packet still attached inside the refrigerator. Why didn't the housekeeping didn't check all the amenities in order before releasing the room? The front office needs to improved on customer services, the bellman service is average but the food and Beverage Service is good.

I've always had a good stay here. I'd especially like to mention Debby, one of the trainee staff at the restaurant. She is always friendly, attentive, and remembers my orders. Thank you, Debby, for your excellent service and for always making my dining experience enjoyable.

We arrived at 1pm & even though check in was at 3pm the front desk kindly allowed us an early check in which was much appreciated. All the staff were generally friendly & helpful. Location is good, lots of food and minimarts in the immediate area. Can also walk to Nagoya mall, about 10 to 15 mins away. We stayed in a smoking room suite. Room was spacious & clean with a simple decor. King size bed with bathrobes & slippers provided. Water pressure was good. Aircon & fridge was cold. The door lock didn't work so we just used the chain. Which was fine as the key cards only brought you up to yr specific floor so we weren't too worried. The restaurant for breakfast was nice & bright with a good variety of food. Quite fast to clear the plates. There was just a bit of a wait for seating but understand why as it was a weekend & i think it was a full house.

The recept staff name Aldo helping us regarding our request. He tried his best to accomodate our staying here. Love this hotel, so cozy and east access to find good food here. First time in Batam and we choose this hotel to get good rest good sleep from hectic work schedule. Love the mattress and pillow so comfy. Room clean and all the furniture no dusty or mold. Spent good money to good staying for resting in Batam.

I have stayed at the hotel on several occasions and enjoyed its convenient location in downtown Nagoya, just about 10-minute walk away from Nagoya Hill Mall. The food and beverage offerings in the rooftop restaurant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Overall, the experience was great, with friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioner malfunctioned around 11 PM, with water leaking out and soaking part of the room. Although the technician managed to fix the issue promptly, the disturbance in the middle of the night created an unpleasant experience after a long and tiring day in Batam.

Great Location! Check in and out was fast. Near Nagoya Hill Mall. Minimart was nearby. Many restaurants around the hotel. Sheltered walkway!

Excellent location with lots of nice eateries, massage, hair and nail salon. Cleanliness is very good.
