Fox Hotel Nagoya Batam

Not a new hotel... Previously occupied by Da Vienna Boutique hotel. New company take over by Ascott group rebrand to Fox. All new designs and furniture... Friendly Receptionist.. shout-out to Mas Adri.. friendly.. explained and give recommendations. Top notch service and personality from him. Room... Aircon not as cool as I wish... Central Aircon I guess... Shower be careful... Heater u turn left or right... Same temperature 🌡️🤒 Restaurants too much offering for breakfast quantity over quality But overall nice stay.

Room looked new cos just renovated. However couple of negatives were: Only 2 pathetic pillows and the purple pillows looked stained. Breakfast was cold. Tried to book ride from Gojek, but keep showing the location as Da Vienna Boutique Hotel. Gym was still not available.

Booked 2 executive room for our stay. Our room has a foul drainage smell, at night there’s weird noise. Bed was not comfortable too. Disappointed with my stay.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience. The only issue was that one of our rooms was only available after 4pm, which didn’t really make sense since the check-in time is 2pm. Other than that, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. It would be even better if there were more vegetarian options available. For example, the noodle station could offer vegetarian Indomie as an option. The location is great and just walking distance to Grand Batam Mall and 10 mins grab to some famous massage shop and cafe like itsumo, spring, Joyi..

When I came back I already recommended friend to stay here. It’s new building. The bed sheets very nice fragrance. Batam can hemat grab car ver cheap. Take to grand Batam mall or penuin A2 good court only 8900rupiah

Clean and modern boutique hotel near to Nagoya mall and many eateries. Very comfortable beds and friendly English speaking staffs at reception. A good spread of international breakfast buffet with local delights as well. The purplish tangy cooling welcome drink at reception was refreshing . They have a guard that scan the taxi that comes in, an extra safety I don’t see other older hotels have. It’s nice to know strict safety measures implemented here . Hotel room is clean and cosy, not big but nice and cosy. They have conllimentary tea/coffee in room , hair dryer, amenities, slippers and safe deposit . Hotel has a spa and salon. For the entertainment , it seems every Saturday they have an eat all you can dinner with live entertainment during this soft launch period which helps solve my worries of what to entertain me at night. A pretty small hotel that even has a dessert cafe. Pretty desserts to my liking as i am a picky dessert person. They have a sauna too but I have yet to try it as I’m occupied with visiting other areas around. If you like to have a massage at the hotel spa, suggest having massues go up your hotel room instead , as the spa seems to be short-staff and my therapist had to excuse herself to answer to random interrupted walk in guests queries, this is a minus. Other than this, all is a plus. Staff at reception and bell boy and cleaning staff were friendly polite and quick to serve . Overall experience was very good! 👍

Why does this hotel feel like a scam? 🤔 Because I paid just RM200+, but the service felt like a 5-star luxury hotel! Here's why: * The moment we arrived, the staff immediately helped carry our luggage from the Grab. Top-notch service from the start! * The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. We were even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, and it was so delicious! * The hotel smelled amazing everywhere. * The location is perfect—it's close to all the major shopping malls, and there's a Starbucks right next door. * The room was spacious and perfect for two people. * The shower had great water pressure. There's no bidet, but overall the bathroom felt luxurious and was definitely worth it. * Room service was excellent, and they even provided slippers. * If you need an iron, just call the reception and they'll deliver it straight to your room. * The best part? When we checked out to head back to Malaysia, the staff carried our luggage all the way to our Grab. * Even after checking out, you can leave your luggage safely at the lobby while you explore. * I would definitely stay here again on my next trip. They also have connecting rooms available, which is perfect for families or groups! For just RM200+, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommended! ⭐️

Clean and new hotel. I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast had good selection of local and international food.
