RIHGA Royal Gran Okinawa

I personally think it was excellent. The transportation was very convenient, and I stayed for a total of 5 nights. The food, service, and room were very clean. The bathtub filled up quickly, in about 10 minutes. There's a Lawson and Family Mart downstairs. The staff were all very polite and would say hi to everyone. I have no complaints, only praise. The staff were polite, but perhaps because I booked through Trip.com, I was given a "platform view" room on the lowest floor, which was completely obstructed, despite my order clearly specifying a city view room. This felt quite dishonest, and the reason is unclear. Of course, if you order breakfast, you can see the city view from the 14th-floor restaurant. It's also next to a library, which is great for studying and research.

First, let's talk about the location: If you're using Naha city as a transit hub and plan to travel around Okinawa by public transportation, I highly recommend staying near the Naha Bus Terminal. 1. Many express long-distance buses depart from here. 2. It's also where Asahibashi Station for the Yui Rail (monorail) is located within Naha city. The Yui Rail is punctual and convenient, taking you to places like the museum, Shuri Castle, and more. 3. You can also walk directly to Naminoue Shrine, and it's not far from Kokusai Street (both about a 15-minute walk). It's also very close to the Don Quijote in Tsubogawa. One more thing: there are many hotels around Asahibashi Station, all sharing a covered pedestrian bridge that connects the bus terminal and Yui Rail station. So, there isn't much difference in terms of location. I chose this particular hotel based on room size. Now, about the hotel itself: You can access the hotel elevators on both the first and second floors, taking you directly to the 14th-floor front desk. Check-in at the front desk was thorough but a bit slow. At the front desk, you can pick up daily amenities like bath salts, sunscreen, shower gel, face masks, makeup remover, etc. There's also that blue herbal tea... On the 14th floor, you have to switch elevators to reach the guest room floors. Whenever I hung the 'please clean' sign when going out, the room was always tidied up and looked brand new upon my return, with daily consumables replenished. Oh, and I really loved the sencha coffee machine in the room; I'd have a cup or two every day after coming back. I even watched a Norway vs. England World Cup match on NHK BS 4K on the TV. There are many supermarkets downstairs, and various dining options like izakayas and Okinawan restaurants are all within walking distance. I stayed for 4 days and was very satisfied overall.

The transportation here is incredibly convenient. After arriving at Naha Airport, you can take the monorail to Asahibashi Station, and you can even use your Suica card. From there, a second-floor walkway leads directly to the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and I felt safe knowing that the housekeeping staff were all Asian women – I really appreciated that.

This hotel is incredibly close to the train station, with a covered walkway connecting directly to it, making getting around super convenient, especially to and from the airport. Kokusai Dori (International Street) is also within walking distance. Compared to local standards, the room facilities here are significantly better. The staff are also very professional and reliable. Plus, there's a convenience store downstairs (how many of you, like me, *have* to stop at a convenience store before heading back to the hotel every day?) — it's just so handy!
