New Normal Hotel in NAMINOUE

The room was clean and newly renovated, with kitchen facilities available for cooking. However, the location is quite remote, about a 15-minute walk from the subway station, and it's situated in ***, which might not be very family-friendly.

This hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Naminoue Shrine, and there's a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart within a 10-minute walk. The room itself was incredibly clean and tidy, and having a washing machine along with a bathroom that doubles as an amazing dryer was a huge plus – it definitely saved space in my luggage. For some traditional entertainment and Japanese cuisine, Naha Ryotei is about a 15-minute walk away. If that's not your style, there's also a Subway and a Sukiya (which has kids' meals with toys!). Overall, I was very satisfied. The only downside is that there are quite a few free 'guidance centers' (for adult entertainment) nearby, which might be a bit awkward for families. The paid parking lot downstairs is 900 JPY for 24 hours, which was the cheapest option in the area.

This hotel operates on a self-service check-in system, so you verify your details via video call on-site, and the process is quite fast. The overall environment is clean and comfortable, and the room is spacious enough to fully open two 28-inch suitcases with room to spare. Housekeeping for towel changes is an additional charge. There's a regular washing machine, but no dryer. However, you can dry your clothes on the balcony or hang them in the bathroom, where the drying function works quite quickly. It's a bit far from Kokusai Dori, but only a 3-minute walk to Naminoue Shrine. There are quite a few adult entertainment establishments nearby, so women traveling alone at night should be extra careful. If you're driving and looking for a more affordable stay, this could be a good option.

The hotel is conveniently located near metro stations, within walking distance of a temple and the TV tower. The room is small, but it has everything you need, even a microwave.

Overall, my stay was great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. The staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. I would definitely choose this place again if I have the chance.

The room was actually quite spacious, and it had everything you could need: a washing machine, fridge, stove, kitchenware, and microwave. You could easily buy groceries and cook your own meals. I'd recommend completing the online check-in form beforehand, because there's only one tablet at the reception, and it can get awkward if a lot of people are waiting. There's a timed parking lot outside. Also, it uses a traditional key, so make sure to always carry it with you. The door doesn't lock automatically, you have to lock it yourself, otherwise, the door can be opened by anyone. This is something to pay special attention to!!

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The room type I booked even had a kitchen and a counter where we could sit and eat. The hotel is located in an area with many adult entertainment establishments, so if that bothers you, you might want to choose elsewhere. The parking lot in front of the hotel is quite expensive, up to 1900 JPY, but the front desk has a 1000 JPY discount coupon you can use. I didn't notice it at first and paid an extra 1000 JPY. There's a cheaper parking lot around the corner that only costs 500 JPY for 24 hours, but finding a spot there is hit or miss.

I just checked out the day before yesterday. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and dinnerware, and the bathroom even featured a clothes-drying function. Naminoue Shrine is conveniently located right downstairs. A Didi ride to Kokusai Dori cost around 20-something (after using a coupon). There's a 7-Eleven and a large supermarket nearby, plus shared bikes/scooters right at the entrance. My only slight complaint was that the pillows were a bit hard; otherwise, everything was perfect.
