The little elephant hotel staff are unprofessional. They did not have a room for me claiming that I took a cheaper option, they asked me to add more money in order to get a shared hostel bed with dirty curtains. The said hotel is not actually a hotel but a block of floors turned into rooms. It is smelly with cigarettes thrown all over the place. I did not end up staying here and lost my money Because I did not get a refund. This property must be reported to the authorities because they must be operating illegally without following due process.

The room was spotless and very quiet. The location is super convenient, right next to China City, and there are supermarkets nearby. The owner is Chinese and incredibly nice. Five stars all around!

It's more of an apartment hostel but it's very good. There are multiple beds in one room which gives it a hostel feel. The owner is so incredibly nice but he doesn't really speak English, just Chinese. Hotel is in a good location right between Yaya Mall and Chinatown. Area is safe as it's the Kilimanjaro area and there are guards for the building. When you enter the building tell the main guard you want to go to Elephant Hotel and he contact the boss to come down and get you. The room is very clean and the WiFi is very fast.
