Executive Residency by Best Western Nairobi

The accomodation is absolutely top range and comfortable and the place has so much to offer. Unfortunately, it appears to be running on auto pilot or poor management. These are the things which really annoyed me: 1. Arriving at night, the signage is not well lit and we struggled to establish whether we had arrived at the right place, especially the security personnel at the gate were not being very helpful. They have never been given any training to help them understand that they are the first point of contact between guests and the residency. 2. We arrived on a "Jazz Night" but, although I am a jazz lover, it should not be foreced upon everyone. The layout of the dining area is very poorly thought out. There was no maitre d'hotel or someone to direct us as to where we should go if we wanted to eat and not listen to music. Eventually we found someone to help us walk past the music area and squeeze past the tight space to go past th bar to the dining area. The whole layout is kind of back to front. The dining area should be more easily accessible and there needs to be a way to separate the main dining area without getting rid of the dining tables in the music area. 3. The dining area is exposed at the back and there was a strong could draught that night, because the rear part of the dining area is exposed to the elements.

Amazing place. We had a smooth chech in with my family and our room was Abby at the front desk made the difference, we knew we are in the right place. Yes Ian and Caroline sealed all they are epitome of authentic hospitality. We shall be back!! You guys made our holiday an amazing

This property is in a great location to get around Nairobi The staff overall are great and the staff in the restaurant during breakfast stood out as being very helpful to our family and very attentive

Stayed at the Executive Residency for about a week on a family trip, and it was exactly what I needed. It feels less like a sterile hotel and more like a high-end apartment complex, which makes a major difference if you’re staying for more than a couple of days. The Room (The Apartment) I stayed in a two-bedroom suite, and I was genuinely impressed. The kitchen is fully equipped (full-sized fridge, stove, even a washing machine), which was a lifesaver. The living area was spacious enough to host a small meeting, and the balcony had a great view of the Riverside greenery. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains actually worked—I slept like a baby despite the jet lag. A Few Minor Things: Traffic: During rush hour, getting in and out of Riverside Drive can be a bit of a crawl. Give yourself an extra 20 minutes for any appointment. Vibe: It’s a very quiet, professional atmosphere. If you’re looking for a "party" hotel or a big social scene, this might be a bit too low-key for you. Final Verdict: If you are traveling for work or with family and want the convenience of a kitchen with the service of a hotel, this is easily one of the best options in Nairobi. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

The buffet breakfast offerings changed slightly each day, so guests can enjoy variety throughout their stay. The tables are set up on the terrace or sunroom, and it's a lovely spot to start the day. The hotel's location was very peaceful and quiet—it doesn't have the traffic and nightlife noise you get from surrounding areas. Lifts, entry ramp, wide halls and low thresholds (restaurant-to-terrace) made accessing most areas of the hotel in a wheelchair easy. (pool is accessed by stairs) Staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hardly have words to describe how amazing Executive Residency by Best Western Nairobi was! The staff were absolutely fantastic – incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms are beautiful, with high ceilings and a calm, comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options. I accidentally left a large sum of money in my room, and the staff found and returned every single note – that says everything about their honesty and integrity. The hotel also helped arrange an excellent driver for a safari in Nairobi National Park and a city tour. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at – I can highly recommend it!

Shuttle: Maximum 3 People with little luggage The room size, cleanliness, and general service were satisfactory, and we appreciated that aspect of our stay. However, we were very disappointed with the shuttle service. We chose this hotel specifically because of the complimentary shuttle, but although our reservation was clearly for four people, we were required to use two cars and asked to pay for an additional vehicle. We only had the usual amount of luggage for travelers. At the time, we were told that the shuttle policy limits passengers to three, yet later we could not find any such clause in the stated policy. This left us feeling misled and unfairly treated.
