Best Western Nairobi Upper Hill

Very good place. Stayed in the apartment very spacious, well kept a good place to try.

The hotel is an old colonial house and well maintained. The location is a little far from the restaurants and city center. A Carrefour is within walking distance. Breakfast and pool are great. Highly recommended for budget travelers

I regret booking this place. The name says Best Western, but this was honestly the worst Western experience I’ve had. The bedding and linen were okay, but that didn’t matter because we barely slept. The room was full of mosquitoes and we spent the night killing them instead of resting. My girlfriend ended up with more than 20 red bites. It was horrible. When we informed the hotel about the mosquito problem, they casually handed us a spray. That was it. No room change and no real solution. The hotel has no AC, and on top of that, the hot shower takes nearly 10 minutes to start. After a long day, that is the last thing you want. The reception staff were unfriendly and very ambiguous. Nothing was explained clearly and you constantly feel unsure about what you are actually getting. In the end, the mosquito situation was so bad that we had to change hotels. You come to Nairobi wanting to stay healthy and energized, not exhausted and bitten. I genuinely regret booking this place and would not recommend it to anyone. Nairobi has far better options.

The hotel was actually okay and the price was reasonable The staff were friendly. However, the room was very, very noisy you could hear everything from the neighbouring rooms when people talked at night. The gym is no longer in great condition.Sometimes when you run on the treadmil, it randomly stops and switches off that’s very dangerous. Also, the pool restaurant is very overpriced and the service was slow.

Wonderful staff and grounds! You feel like you’re in a tropical paradise. Beautiful swimming pool and scenery.

Cheap and a little cheerful. Bed was hard and no a/c. But at £51 per night can't grumble.

The place is good, near restaurants and a mall. Easy access to all the best spots in Nairobi.
