Montville Mountain Inn
"Lovely hotel, owners friendly & attentive. Decor is a little dated but room was very cosy & comfortable. Short walk into town, lots of independent shops & restaurants"
Montville Holiday Apartments
"Lovely views from 1st floor mountain view rooms. Accommodation is tired and needs updating. Little touches like maintaining lose screws on the dining chairs, curtain rails. Smelt damp on arrival but that could be because of the weather. Appreciate that the building is old and creaky but the noise coming from the adjoining rooms is very annoying, and people showed no thought about other people staying in the property. Owners were very helpful."
Red Bridge Motor Inn
"Needed a place to stay that was close to Nambour. Great location. Quiet rooms. We asked if a toaster was available in room. Toaster was offered during our stay along with crockery and cutlery. Bonus was having restaurant onsite. Meals were delicious. We ate there every night as it was so convenient. Only downfall is the parking. It is undercover and the motel recommended reversing into carpark as many people have hit the poles in the carpark. Can be a bit squishy. Rooms were very clean, roomy and beds comfortable. "
Altitude on Montville
"My friend and I stayed at this hotel recently and while the location is excellent. We stayed in a disability access room and appreciated the effort to provide accessibility. However, the bathroom drainage was not good. The floor was completely level, which I understand is part of the design for accessibility, but unfortunately, the water didn’t flow easily toward the drain. After a shower, water would pool on the floor and take a long time to drain, which made it uncomfortable and potentially unsafe. I had to place towels on the floor to help keep it dry. I hope the hotel can improve the drainage design in accessible rooms to ensure both safety and comfort for all guests. I hope the hotel can improve the drainage design in accessible rooms to ensure both safety and comfort for all guests. This seems like a design issue that could be improved to make the bathroom more functional and hygienic for guests. This might seem like a small issue, but it really affected the overall cleanliness and convenience of the stay. I hope the hotel looks into this and fixes the drainage problem for future guests."
Clouds Montville
"The hotel service was good, but the food was so-so."
Nambour Lodge Motel
"The place was nice. The bed was comfy, The air-conditioning was cold. But the place kind of smelt like a ***** pool bathroom, it wasn't super noticeable and I assume it was just the cleaning chemicals, but it was definitely a smell for sure."
Kondalilla Eco Resort
"Such a cozy and relaxing stay! The atmosphere was peaceful, the room was comfortable, and everything felt like a perfect little escape. Would definitely come back."
The Commercial Hotel Nambour

Alaya Ascend
"Had an amazing stay at Alaya Ascend this weekend. The place has such a peaceful and relaxing vibe — perfect to disconnect and just enjoy the moment. Everything was super well looked after, and you can really feel the attention to detail. Craig was incredibly attentive and genuinely a great guy, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed — highly recommend it if you’re looking to relax and reset."
Montville Boutique Bnb
"I'm writing this review on TripAdvisor as there seems to be an issue with leaving a review for this property on *********** (who we booked through). Sorry for the delay in writing this but our lives been a whirlwind for a couple of months. This is a lovely property with a gorgeous couple running it. The bedroom was spacious with a large bed, a comfy seating area and a bathroom with a powerful shower. The breakfast was impressive and saw us through until our evening meal with just a little snack between. After a day out, we would come back, have the last hour of sunshine sat around the little pool and then a glass of wine on the terrace furniture until we walked into town. Montville seems to be a bit more of a day time place with only a handful of places open in the evening (perhaps 5). This property is close enough to go to the seaside for the day and there's plenty of other small towns around about to visit. There's a great winery nearby. We stayed for 5 days out of our month in Australia and this hotel and it's owners were a highlight."

Spicers Clovelly Estate
"From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a true hideaway. The grounds are stunning, with gardens and a relaxing vibe throughout. Our room was comfortable (although possibly feeling a little outdated maybe), lovely touches that made it feel extra special. The dining experience was top-notch, with delicious food and a warm, welcoming team."
The Falls Montville
"Our second stay at The Falls and it was as wonderful as last year. Gorgeous cosy cabin with pot belly stove, huge spa bath, comfy bed & pillows, and everything you need in the kitchen. Alan & Irena’s hospitality is second to none! An amazing amount of fresh produce ready for us in the fridge - bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, avocado (the best I’ve had all year), Maleny milk, juice and delicious yoghurt, fresh bread and croissants delivered daily. We did a few local hikes and Alan also dropped us to the start of the 15km hike back to The Falls. It’s such a beautiful, peaceful part of SE Qld. We’ve decided this will be an annual winter weekend getaway (extending it by an extra night every year!)"
