"Great experience! Great experience! Impeccable experience! There is a private hot spring room where you can enjoy the snow and outdoor scenery. There are also free drinks and wine in the hotel lobby, which is great! The hotel also has snow bikes for rent. You can ride them to visit Onuma Park. It is so beautiful and relaxing!"
"This is a homestay. It is very close to JR Onuma Park Station. You can see it through the railway line. The host has a very good attitude. The room size is OK. There is a heater for burning kerosene. The bathroom and bathroom are shared outside, but it is very clean, especially the bathroom, there is no smell at all. There is a special deodorant, there is a special slippers at the door, I really admire the host. Although the room decoration is average, the restaurant is worth seeing. The decoration is very special. After breakfast, the host will come to each room to call you. Remember to book breakfast in advance. You can't find a place to eat around in the morning. There are no chain stores."
"I was unsure what to expect as the hotel is slightly remote and we did not have a car. Read that there is a shuttle bus but I request twice on the schedule via trip app but received no response 🤨
Had to request a Japanese hotel that we stayed before prince to help us check out the timing of the bus schedule and we also went to travel information counter and finally got the timing. Phew.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly. Special shout out to Peter from Canada who is born and raised in Hokkaido. He is such a nice and warm person who offered us lots of advice around Onuma. Prince hotel is very lucky to have a staff like him!! 👍"
"If you want spend a few days at Onuma National Park, Hotel Miraino Yado Mizunoto is the right place to stay. It’s next to the lake, where you may walk or jogging. The rooms are spacious which is not so common in Japan. The staffs are friendly, trying hard to accommodate guests’ enquiries in English. There are a couple of small restaurants around, but some of them close rather early. The only drawback about the hotel is that if you don’t drive, it’s not easy to get there."
