Holiday Inn Express NANCHANG WEST STATION by IHG

My last visit to Nanchang was quite some time ago, and the city, which I was never very familiar with, now feels completely new to me. This time I'm here for a business trip, and trusting the InterContinental Group, I booked this hotel close to the West Station. It's less than a kilometer away, about a 10-15 minute walk. You can also book the hotel shuttle. Despite being close to the station, it's surprisingly quiet with no noise whatsoever.

Traveling to Nanchang with a friend, we chose the Holiday Inn Express near Nanchang West Station. As an IHG property, the hotel delivers solid quality. The front desk service was excellent, and they even upgraded our room for free. The views from the higher floors are great, and the room was spacious and clean. Special shout-out to the breakfast with its local特色拌粉 (special mixed noodles) and瓦罐汤 (clay pot soup) – a big plus! We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit! ❗️

This is our second consecutive night at this Holiday Inn Express, and the service has been excellent. Last night, they even sent up two complimentary drinks. The breakfast spread is also fantastic, with Nanchang mixed rice noodles and Wagan soup. I'd definitely come back again.

If you're driving, there's a free parking lot on B2. There's also a self-service laundry room and a gym on the 10th floor, making it the perfect choice for business travelers. It offers great value for money.

The overall environment is clean, making it very suitable for business travel.

The hotel's overall decor is simple yet elegant. The bathroom's marble tiles have a great texture, and the wet/dry separation is well-done, making it clean and refreshing. The front desk lobby is spacious and grand, with transparent glass doors at the entrance, creating a bright and open overall space. The public areas are tidy and impressive. My overall stay was very pleasant.

The guest room has a spacious floor-to-ceiling window with great natural light, and the bedding is very comfortable. The lobby's lounge area is quiet and cozy. The breakfast noodle station offers a wide variety of toppings that you can mix and match. The overall environment is clean, and the hotel staff are friendly.

I brought my family to Nanchang and chose this hotel near the West Station. It was very convenient for getting around; taking a taxi to tourist spots was no hassle. The room was quite clean, and the bed was just the right firmness, so my family rested well. The bathroom was spacious, and the hot water was consistent, which was great for the elderly. For breakfast, they had congee, buns, and eggs, so there was something for the kids to eat too. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, making for a reassuring stay. The staff were all very friendly; when we had a small issue, the front desk quickly helped resolve it. For a family trip, this place offers good value for money. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
