The location is unbeatable since it is a few walking minutes away from the Confucius Temple, which is surrounded by beautiful shops and restaurants. This stay was in a cute bookstore, and we were greeted by a lovely couple, very kind, very warm. The room 101 was located in the ground floor and we were really grateful since we didn't have to carry the luggage to a second floor. I highly recommend this place and definitely would come back. I absolutely have to rave about this homestay! It truly shattered my stereotype that you can't find good quality accommodation right next to a tourist spot. First off, the room was huge! I could fully open two 28-inch suitcases and still have plenty of space to move around. Most importantly, it was spotless! I felt completely comfortable walking barefoot on the floor. The newly installed toilet and shower head were a joy to use! The bedding wasn't that slippery, artificially white kind you often find in some hotels; it was plush and soft, making you never want to leave the bed. The attention to detail was truly impressive: soft-bristled toothbrushes, and they even provided a small comb! Everything was of excellent quality. The common area has a washing machine, dryer, and free laundry detergent – an absolute lifesaver for long trips! You can even hang clothes to dry, making laundry worries a thing of the past. The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a two-minute walk out the door to the subway station, and Fuzi Temple is literally across the street. This B&B truly lives up to its photos – no filters or touch-ups needed! The room was surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. Cleanliness: Spotless. Service: The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Environment: We stayed for two consecutive nights. The second night was much quieter than the first; our neighbors next door put their children to bed early, and it seemed like no one was staying upstairs, which allowed us to have a wonderful night's sleep. Extremely satisfied! The location is super convenient, just a four or five-minute walk from Fuzi Miao (Confucius Temple) Metro Exit 3 and 4. The gentleman who looks after the guesthouse is very friendly and welcoming, and the owner is also wonderful. They're happy to share local food recommendations and travel tips. The room was very clean, and the bedding was spotless. Complimentary bottled water is provided daily. For food, if you exit Metro Line 4 and turn right, you'll find Qingzhen Jintongji, whose beef potstickers are absolutely delicious. Right at the alley entrance to the guesthouse, there's a fruit cart that opens around 5 or 6 PM daily. Their watermelon is incredibly sweet and even comes with a spoon! It's also very close to Fuzi Miao, where you can find delicious red bean glutinous rice balls at Lianhu Gaotuan shop. Booking two rooms was great value for our large family trip. All towels and essential amenities were readily available, the air conditioning was powerful, and there was plenty of bottled water.
