Holiday Inn Express NANJING XUANWU LAKE by IHG

My daughter and I traveled to Nanjing, and this hotel, located right by Xuanwu Lake, offers stunning views. It's also very convenient for transportation, making it easy to get to all the major attractions. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the service attitude is super good; the ladies at the front desk are all very thoughtful. The breakfast is rich and delicious. If I come to Nanjing again, the Holiday Inn Express Xuanwu Lake will definitely be my first choice.

The front desk staff had a great attitude, and the housekeeping staff I met in the hallway greeted me warmly. The hotel's location is also good; there are enough local Nanjing restaurants to try a different one every day for several days, and a few places to get 'duck' (if I'm saying that right?). The downside is that breakfast wasn't particularly good; there were few hot dishes, and for Western pastries, there was only one croissant. The soy milk and regular milk weren't refilled very promptly. Overall, aside from the so-so breakfast, everything else was quite good.

On a short trip to Nanjing, this hotel's location was a huge plus – just a few steps from Xuanwu Lake for a stroll. The king room was spacious and clean, and the soft mattress made for a great night's sleep. For breakfast, the duck blood vermicelli soup was incredibly authentic. The front desk staff were gentle, warm, and attentive. I had a comfortable stay and felt it was excellent value for money.
