The Westin Nanjing Xuanwu Lake Reviews

We are returning guests with kid. 1st thing I came in is to check the windows for safety. It is unlocked!!!! I called the front desk to tell them and requested for manager to call me. When I told manager that I am returning guests and the last time the window was unlocked and I gave feedback but this time it is still unlock. Manager said he will get technician to closed it and also mentioned that and windows’ gap is too small for an adult hand to put out so the windows is safe. ( is he trying to defend their mistake?) 2nd, my son showered and the whole bath room was flooded. He didn’t even have long shower. It was a quick shower but the water sipped out to the toilet floor and the whole bathroom was flooded. I called them again to get the plumber to unclogged the drainage and the cleaner to come clean the toilet. Third the bed sheet had stain.

Westin is located with huge shopping mall and lake view from hotel room was very nice.

The room stayed was designed with Japanese animation characters. It was felt very warm. They said a long time ago it was designed for the children, however I think they can appeal to those female customers as well.

Great hotel with great service. Located close to the Xuanwu Lake and there is a mall next to the hotel. Room is super comfortable, great amenities and nice view.

A 9.5 out of 10 hotel. Very good indeed. Location is good, right next to the enchanting XuanWu Lake, with subway station just under the hotel. Connected to the hotel is a mall with nice restaurants. Service is beyond expectation, the concierge, the front desk, the housekeeping staff are all very well trained and professional, as well as helpful and friendly.  Breakfast spread is so good and tasty and we both gained weight during our 5 days four night stay. I will definitely and strongly recommend this hotel to all my friends visiting Nanjing. 

Location is convenient for short stays and nearby underground trains station. Room is large and clean. Have a good sleep for the stays Reception service is excellent and friendly. Breakfast is superb and high quality for combined western and local Chinese food.

There was a comment about the hotel room lacking the outlets. After my recent stay, I totally agreed to that. There is only one charging outlet at the bedside and one USB charging. There's no charging station at the desk which I found very odd. How can people work on their laptop at the desk without a charging station. So, remember to bring your own charging outlet if you have multiple electric devices. The hotel room has very good soundproofing. There are reasonable amounts of food selections at the breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The subway station is at B1 floor in the same high rise building. The location is definitely very convenient.

Stayed here every time I visited Nanjing. No complains.

Westin is always a trustworthy brand. We had a great time staying there. My younger daughter saw a hotel advertising about group running program they offered and asked about it. Even though my daughter was the only one signed up for morning run the next day, a hotel employee happily accompanied her runing around the beautiful Xuanwu Lake. Great service.

Beautiful lake view and convenient location.

The staff is very accomodating and the room is clean and big. I had an Awesome experience 👍👍👍
