Kempinski Hotel Nanjing

First off, the service was absolutely fine, really on point and quite good. However, the facilities are seriously lacking. We booked two rooms; in one, the air conditioning was terrible – we had to adjust it three times in the middle of the night before it finally worked, and our two little ones were sweating profusely. In the other room, the AC was leaking severely, leaving puddles all over the floor, and we almost slipped. A service staff member came to check it when we checked in, but it was still leaking and didn't help. They did provide a baby cot, which was nice, but it didn't have a safety rail, which wasn't ideal.

Our 3-day, 2-night group trip was fantastic! 👍 The value for money was outstanding compared to other 5-star hotel group deals in the same category. The executive lounge maintained its excellent service and quality; the drink selection was comprehensive, and the cocktails were genuinely impressive. For breakfast, the potstickers, vermicelli soup, and Pidu noodles meant we could enjoy authentic Nanjing cuisine without even leaving the hotel. The room's cleanliness and soundproofing were excellent, and the large bathtub was big enough for me to fully stretch out at 180cm tall. The city view was also beautiful.

After a long search for hotels in Nanjing, I finally settled on Kempinski. Molly, in the red uniform, was very attentive during check-in, and perfectly handled a subsequent room change. The hotel bedding was also very comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent. It's not far from major attractions by metro, about a 10-minute walk, and a short taxi ride as well.

The room was spotless and well-laid out. The hotel's food delivery robot was a real plus, making it super convenient not to have to go downstairs for takeout. Cassie and Molly in the red uniforms provided excellent service, helping us with a late checkout and even giving us custom room cards!

Among all the 5-star hotels I've stayed at, the Kempinski truly stands out... The experience here was far more comfortable and enjoyable than at other hotels like the Westin, the Hilton at the World Trade Center, or the Xuanwu Hotel. The service was insanely good; a big shout-out to Sally! Overall, I was extremely satisfied and delighted. I was upgraded to an executive suite, which was a pleasant surprise, and it was incredibly comfortable with huge floor-to-ceiling windows... and the water pressure was fantastic... All in all, it was excellent. And a special mention for the breakfast – truly amazing! It's rare to find 5-star hotels offering freshly baked puddings these days, but the Kempinski's breakfast is the best I've had in years... Highly satisfied! 👍

I booked a new package deal at this hotel through Trip.com, and it was a great value for money. The front desk staff, especially the gentleman and Cassie and Molly (in red uniforms), were very considerate. They upgraded my room, and any requests I had were promptly addressed. The overall environment is lovely, the breakfast offers a rich variety, and all the staff are warm and attentive.

The hotel is relatively new, with a great environment. The front desk was responsive, and the room was clean and tidy. Yulia provided excellent service and even proactively contacted me about a forgotten item. Highly recommended.

Huge thanks to Sharon for the executive floor upgrade – the high-level view was fantastic! The hotel is also quite convenient for all the attractions. We caught the tail end of summer and experienced the warmth of Jinling (Nanjing) (^_^). My kids really loved the white teddy bear too!

A very nice hotel! They gave us two eye masks. The pool was very clean, and the room was spotless. The dinner buffet was excellent, with authentic German roasted meats.
