Room cleanliness is always a common topic, and most five-star hotels do a decent job, but what pleasantly surprised me was how incredibly clean the room windows were. This is something they do exceptionally well compared to other high-rise hotels in Nanjing. The bar on the 56th floor has a fantastic ambiance, and the music they play is great – absolutely perfect for a relaxing drink. In summary, Nanjing Golden Eagle World G Hotel is a hotel with incredible value for money and a brilliant design. I genuinely highly recommend it. Amazing design and better convenient location, it's right above a massive mall with a ton of eateries and shopping, as well as the red metro line. 24/7 fully equipped gym was great as well. The service was decent, but honestly a bit lacking for a 5 star, luxury hotel, which was a bit shocking compared to the hardware. The only major downside is smoking. Had to change rooms due to the first one reeking of smoke, and if you get lucky you'll smell your neighboors smoking too. Pretty disappointing for this level of hotel.
