Overall, my stay was very comfortable and offered excellent value for money. The room was located right next to the elevator, making it extremely convenient for commuting. There was also a supermarket downstairs, making shopping easy. The room was spacious, well-planned, clean, and tidy, with a relaxing, simple, soft color scheme. The whole-room smart control system was a real highlight, allowing most devices to be controlled by voice, creating a high-tech feel.
There are three areas where the hotel would like to improve:
1. Shower Experience: The showerhead had a very fine and powerful spray, making the shower experience unpleasant.
2. Laundry Facilities: The laundry room is relatively small, so wait times can be long during peak hours.
3. Soundproofing Issues: Perhaps due to the proximity to the elevator, noises outside the door can be clearly heard at night, which can be a problem for light sleepers.

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

Regarding the specific stay experience, on the first day, the floor drain was clogged. I called customer service to fix it, which was a bit inconvenient as the water overflowed from the shower area into the sink area. The location is outside the city center, which makes it a bit remote but also very quiet. Apart from these two points, everything else was commendable.

The room itself was clean and spacious, boasting a great view from the window. Staff were incredibly quick to deliver anything we needed to the room, which was much appreciated. The hotel's location in Xinjiekou city center is fantastic, surrounded by various shopping malls and delicious eateries. It's also just a few minutes' walk from the subway, making it super convenient for getting around and exploring. Overall, it's an excellent value-for-money hotel right in the heart of Xinjiekou.

We planned to explore the Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao) and Qinhuai River, and after extensive research, I found this hotel conveniently located right within the Fuzimiao scenic area â the Atour Hotel Nanjing Fuzimiao Qinhuai River Cruise Terminal. The staff at the front desk even upgraded us to a river-view room. It's right by the river, and you can enjoy the beautiful night view of the Qinhuai River just by opening the window. The hotel's services were also excellent. For example, they offer a complimentary late-night congee service, where you can get free porridge in the evening. For breakfast the next day, I wanted to sleep in a bit, so I arranged with the front desk in advance to have it packed and left at our door. The service was truly impressive. We booked a twin room, and it was very spacious with comfortable bedding. My parents were very satisfied, saying they slept soundly through the night without any trouble.

SsteelbossI am from New York and am based in Suzhou, China. I stayed at this hotel during a busy holiday and was very concerned about Nanjing traffic. This hotel has an excellent location near the university city and many theme parks, such as Nanjing Happy Valley. The level of elegance of the rooms was comparable to the now-extinct 6-star rating. You would have to see it to believe it, including the electric toilets and beveled glass doors.
However, I decided to post a comment because of the restaurant. I have been in China for 23 years and usually travel for business. Breakfast at most hotels is not good, and nothing like in Western hotels. Because of this, I drove to a fancy restaurant and wasted a ton of money on horrible food. The next day, upon checkout, I decided to eat at the in-hotel restaurant and was totally shocked to find two interconnected dining facilities, consisting of a hot pot buffet on one side and an Ă la carte buffet on the other. I chose the Ă la carte because my son saw the grilled beef kabobs and had to have it.
Here is the best part: When you enter the buffet, you get a small card you pre-charge with money. I charged RMB 300, or about $41.66. You go through the buffet, take what you want, and swipe the card for each item. You only pay for what you eat. There had to be no less than 80 items on the buffet, from vegetable dishes, soups, pasta, beef (tenderloin), rib steak, short-rib steaks, fish, shrimp, traditional noodles, eggs, omelets, various bread, fruits, and many traditional Chinese dishes. There were four of us, and we were stuffed. Ultimately, I returned the charge card and was refunded RMB 35. This means I spent RMB 265 for four people or RMB 66.25 ($9.20) per person for a spectacular buffet.
This was hands-down the best hotel experience I've had in China, for room, and dining.
I really did not like one thing. A workstation outside deals with tiles, marble, masonry, and maintenance. It does not look good, and that was my view. The laydown area uses part of the parking lot. The yard needs to be cleaned up, and the work site covered or contained in a shop. This is a major management gaff void of marketing awareness. I still rate the hotel a 5-star.

HHaoshuangWe came to Nanjing with our kids and parents for a Zhou Shen concert, and we had already booked this hotel back in March. My parents stayed in the inner room with two large beds, while my child and I slept on the bunk beds in the living room. The hotel suite was very clean, and the room even had a building block wall and a game table. There's a Luckin Coffee downstairs, and the Ning Xiaoxian restaurant on the 28th floor served delicious food. It was only a 10-minute taxi ride to Xinjiekou, and right across the street from the hotel was the bustling Pioneer Bookstore. On the first night, we went to the Olympic Sports Center for the concert, and on the second night, we watched the Nanjing vs. Wuxi game from Wutaishan Stadium right from our room! Haha, this arrangement was absolutely brilliant. Both my parents and the kids were incredibly happy!

After arriving, there was no light and we walked around in a circle. It was not easy to find. In fact, it is located near the southeast of the community and is easier to find during the day. The bed is right at the entrance of the room, and you can hear people coming and going in the corridor. The sound insulation is average. The newly opened hotel is fairly clean. There is a foul smell in the bathroom, I donât know if it is related to the weather. There is a storefront at the west gate of the community where you can have breakfast. The advantage is the affordable price.
