Amazing hotel. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating! They upgraded us into a larger room as they felt the one we booked would be a bit too small for a family of four. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable (firm beds which we love) and the bathroom was modern. The location is perfect: very quiet but close to busy areas. The hotel staff even helped us by doing laundry for us multiple times during our stay. The owner gave us multiple teas to bring home, which were all delicious. Our girls loved the dog in the lobby too. I would love to stay at this hotel again if I return back to Nanjing. We stayed at hotels in Beijing, Shenyang and Dalian and this hotel was much nicer than all of those hotels! Note: my wife is Chinese, so that definitely helped with communication, but I feel the staff would have made us feel comfortable even if we only spoke English.

We wrapped up our meeting in Suzhou and decided to swing by Nanjing to visit our relatives. And boy, did we stumble upon a gem of a hotel! This place was like a work of art, with Chinese artistic touches everywhere you looked. I gotta give a shout-out to Alex and Alice at the reception. They provided us with some top-notch service while checking us in. And let's not forget about Alex from the concierge - that guy was a lifesaver! Our stay was nothing short of amazing. We had such a relaxing time, and I guarantee you'll feel the same if you give this hotel a shot. Seriously, it's worth every penny. So, if you're looking for a fantastic experience, I highly recommend this place. To sum it all up, our little detour from Suzhou to Nanjing led us to this incredible hotel. It was decked out with beautiful Chinese artwork and had a vibe that was hard to beat. Alex and Alice at the reception were absolute rock stars, and Alex from the concierge went above and beyond to help us out. Trust me, you won't regret staying here if you want a wonderful, laid-back time.

I booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby. The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt. The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone. The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

Budget friendly hostel, friendly staffs, walkable distance from the metro station

It was a great place to spend a 2 days , we had a opportunity to swim and play with goats also there's some small cruises, it's very good spot

This hostel was an amazing experience! The location is super convenient, it's clean and doesn't have any strange smells. The bedding is changed for each guest, and the beds have privacy curtains and charging ports, offering great privacy. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, they even stored my luggage for free and patiently gave me recommendations for local food. The common areas are large and cozy, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's incredibly good value for money, perfect for solo travelers. I'll definitely come back again, highly recommended!
