Nanning Hotel

Nanning Hotel is right near Nanning Station, within walking distance to the bustling Chaoyang Square. We took a taxi from the airport, but I noticed there was plenty of parking, so next time we could drive ourselves. The room was spacious enough. Although the hotel is a bit old, they've added smart controls which are very convenient. The breakfast was incredibly impressive and diverse, offering almost all of Guangxi's specialty dishes. The staff were very friendly. For less than 300 yuan in the off-season, including breakfast, it was an amazing value!

Great location, very central and convenient for shopping. The breakfast was good, and the towels and bath towels were all individually wrapped, which showed how clean they were. The bed was really comfortable. As for hygiene: it was very clean, and the toilet was a smart one.

The staff are warm and attentive, and the hotel's buffet offers a great variety. Right outside, you'll find Nanning's liveliest commercial district and the 'Three Streets and Two Alleys' area. After exploring, you can head to the pier for a scenic boat tour. The food was also perfectly to my taste.

This is an old, established five-star hotel in Nanning, located in the railway station commercial area, directly opposite the Sanjie Liangxiang Historical and Cultural District. You can go there in the evening to enjoy the night views and taste local snacks. Transportation is convenient, with direct high-speed trains to the airport. The room facilities are a bit dated, but the service is quite good. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including Nanning's local specialties. It's suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

This hotel truly offers a quiet escape in the midst of the bustling city. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Three Streets and Two Lanes, the museum, and the riverside. There are also many great restaurants nearby. The hotel annex has a food street, and the hotel breakfast features a variety of authentic Guangxi snacks. The service is great, and the rooms are very clean.

Great location, right near Sanjie Liangxiang, and plenty of dining options nearby. Our room was on the second floor, very quiet, and the towels and other amenities were individually packaged. Parking was also convenient.

An old-school five-star hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is spotless, and the price is reasonable. It's very convenient for getting around, close to both the subway station and tourist attractions. The only downside is that the ceiling is a bit low, making it feel a little cramped.

Pros: 1. Excellent hotel location. The subway station is right outside to the right, surrounded by commercial areas. San Xiang Liang Jie (Three Lanes and Two Alleys) is just diagonally opposite and within walking distance, making getting around very convenient. 2. As a five-star hotel with a long history, the basic services and room space are guaranteed. 3. All disposable amenities are individually packaged, which looks quite hygienic. Cons: 1. The hotel has a very strong sense of age, from the lobby to the hallways and even the rooms. The TV looks like an antique and is practically unusable. Also, please remove the mirror facing the bed; it makes it impossible to sleep. And the tissue box is very old and worn out. 2. Surprisingly, there are more hot dishes than breakfast items. How are guests supposed to eat breakfast when it feels like lunch? The rice noodles are even thicker than Guilin rice noodles and not tasty. The food quality doesn't match a five-star hotel's standard and needs improvement. 3. The room carpet wasn't very clean; garbage was clearly visible. 4. The front desk staff's service awareness needs to be improved.

The service was just okay; I had to carry my own luggage. The renovation wasn't mentioned on the booking platform. The toiletries were decent, and the individually wrapped towels felt more hygienic than unwrapped ones. However, there were a lot of thresholds inside the room, which isn't ideal for children or the elderly.
