The owner of this homestay is very honest. The other one who helped a friend book before has always said that the room is full and lets check out. Fortunately, there is no problem with the friend's guarantee. The friend also checked in smoothly when he said that the store, indicating that the female boss has a large pattern. We booked two rooms in total.
Although it is a B&B, the room is clean and tidy, has an elevator, a washing machine, and the boss's enthusiastic service: as soon as we arrived at the door, the boss came out immediately and took the initiative to help us carry our luggage into the elevator; he also took the initiative to tell us where to wash and dry clothes.

[Super five-star experience! ] This treasure villa hidden in the scenic spot is definitely recommended! 🏡
1. Great location. It is only a 10-minute drive from the main entrance of Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, but it enjoys a quiet place. Even the sound of insects can be heard clearly at night, and it will not be disturbed by the noise of the market.
2. The accommodation experience is amazing! At the time of check-in, I was shocked by the spotless environment! The bedding smells of sunshine, and the bathroom tiles are shiny
The villa decoration has a sense of design and practicality. I stayed for one night and decided to cancel my stay at other hotels.
3. Dining surprise: Originally, the picture was convenient for dining at the homestay, but the boss’s private kitchen directly conquered my and the old 🐢 honey's stomach! Especially (special dishes can be added, freshly fried meat is a must!), the ingredients are fresh enough to eat the original flavor, the aunt said that most of the dishes are grown in the vegetable garden at the door.
4. Warm service: The boss family is as intimate as receiving distant relatives: helping with luggage and recommending niche play. Auntie invited us to have afternoon snacks as soon as we entered the door. It was so intimate. Auntie’s big red robe egg was absolutely amazing. It was delicious...
I have made an appointment with my girlfriends to revisit again next time and continue to live in Shuizhuang No. 8!
This kind of homestay with both quality and temperature is the most precious encounter in travel~ 💐

GGuest UserWe love this hotel stay that staff is so friendly with warm welcome us, upgrading our hotel stay to bigger rooms and help to bring some of our luggage to upper floor room, then we were treated with tea tasting and briefing on places of attractions of Wuyishan.
Help to book a car transport to hotel from airport and ticket booking night show Impressive Daohopao, Wuyishan river rafting, and tour bus within Wuyishan mountain.
The staff is soo kind to provide free gift of pack of tea and accommodate us to check out late after 1pm as our request.
Thank you so much to their great service that I will recommend to my friend to put a stay here who would like to come for visiting Wuyishan.

SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

AAnneHad a lovely 3 night stay over Christmas break. Took a 3 hour high speed train from Shanghai. The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station with reservation made in advance. Everything was very smooth. When we arrived at the hotel, my kids enjoyed the buggy ride from the main lobby to our villa, where there was a nice tea, fruit, and pastries waiting for us. The hotel is very close to the National park. It’s about a 30 min walk to the south entrance where you can get tickets for the bus that takes you around the park to the hiking trails and bamboo raft trip. Remember to bring your passport. We forgot but our photos were accepted as ID.
On our way out, we had some pictures taken on-site. We forgot to book in advance but the staff were very accommodating.
We do not speak mandarin at all but we were able to get by with Google translate, WeChat, and some of the staff are English speaking.
Overall, the Villas are very nice. The pictures look exactly as shown. A true 5 star. Would highly recommend.

．．wenwenI just looked up folk customs online. I originally wanted to book a parent-child package, but because there were three adults, I booked a triple room. The hotel is very new and the environment is very good. It is very quiet because it is not the peak season and it is at the foot of the mountain. The hygiene in the hotel room is also very good, and the housekeeper is quite considerate. The overall service is also great, and the breakfast is quite rich (I would like to recommend the morning powder here. I didn't see it served but you can ask the staff). The overall experience of staying for two nights is not bad. The tea provided by the hotel is delicious (Fei Zixiao). Moreover, the environment of the hotel is very suitable for taking pictures, and there is an outdoor swimming pool. It should be open when it is hot. Behind the hotel is the walking park at the foot of the mountain where you can stroll.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a prime location, not far from the South Gate and North Gate of Wuyi Mountain, and it is very convenient to visit scenic spots. When checking in, the young man at the hotel front desk was very enthusiastic, upgraded the room, and sent breakfast. The hotel has its own parking lot, but parking at the door is charged. Another young man walked outside the door to tell us the specific location of the hotel parking lot and how to drive there, and told us to come back and walk along the corridor. The hotel room is large, clean and hygienic, the bedding is comfortable, the facilities are complete, the hot water for bathing is also very good, and two small bags of tea, Dahongpao and Zhengshan Xiaozhong, are sent in the room. The breakfast is also good, you can eat well and eat well, and the restaurant is very beautiful.

AAnja 安雅Lovely resort very out in the green, whilst close to Wuyigong palace, all peaks (Tianyoufeng, Dawangfeng, Shuilian Cave) as well as Duiia Qu for food. You can basically walk everywhere if you have enough time. The room was spacious and clean, the service was excellent, there is also a small travel agency that can take you for tea tasting and seeing how they grow and produce tea in Wuyishan. Breakfast was good, rather Chinese though. Receptionists were lovely and helpful, as well as room service. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

NNathan JJThis hotel is easily one of the best I have ever stayed at.
The service is very warm. When I arrived there late at night, the woman at the check-in desk walked me through the various attractions in the Wuyishan Scenic Area, and provided a helpful map. Similarly, when I left, the hotel staff helped me arrange my taxi to the train station.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean. They provide water bottles and Wuyishan tea. The shower was very comfortable, too. The room was a great place to relax after a long day of mountain climbing.
There are many good amenities too. They sell Wuyishan tea sets at the front desk for a reasonable price. They have a self-service laundry room. They also have a yummy hot breakfast buffet for $25, which I think is reasonable as well. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very warm too.
Finally, the location is good for exploring Wuyishan. There is a bus stop 3 minutes away where you can catch a free city bus to the South Entrance. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Wuyi Palace, and there is a city bus you can catch to there too. The Sangu District, where the hotel is located, is clean and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed walking the main road at night.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Wuyishan.
