Very good. I saw the rating of 4.5 before booking, so I was a little worried. I found that this was the only five-star hotel nearby, so I went there directly. I was not disappointed. The room is large, clean, separated from the wet and dry areas, with a bathtub, and the waiters are friendly. It is a good place to stop by on the highway. Such a five-star hotel would cost thousands in other cities. The breakfast room is very grand, and the key is that it is clean and hygienic. The breakfast is very rich, equipped according to the five-star hotel, with freshly cooked porridge, noodles, omelets, and a rich pastry area. The fruits are fresh and delicious 😋. I stayed here once 3 years ago and I thought it was the most cost-effective hotel in Yanping. But now it’s really no longer possible. If the faucet is broken, it will not be repaired, and if the wall is damaged, it will not be maintained.
I communicated with the hotel where I checked in at 4 o'clock in the morning to extend the check-out time without affecting the check-in of other guests. The hotel refused straight away and called me at 11 o'clock in the morning, which was super frustrating.
Of course, we have something to say, the breakfast is quite good, the lady who makes breakfast is also very nice, and the security uncle at the front desk is also a good person!

I was scared to see a lot of bad reviews before, but the price/performance ratio is really high. The server at the front desk is also very considerate. The check-out system is 24 hours. The lady at the front desk even delayed my stay. The breakfast was also good and it was the end time. It's a bit early, and there was no malicious price increase during May Day. I stayed in a round bed room with river view. The scenery is quite beautiful and the area is large. Compared to the Accord, it is very close to the city. Takeaways can be delivered upstairs and smoking is allowed. Come to this hotel in Yanping Don’t miss it!

SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

RRobertThis hotel is about a 40-minute taxi ride from the Wuyishan North Railway station, and about five minutes from the Wuyishan park south gate in a small, quiet neighborhood.
The reception was very welcoming and I took the option to get a custom Wuyishan park itinerary for my 1-day visit during a tea ceremony with the owner of the hotel, who speaks english and owns a tea factory. Great service!
There's plenty of free water, snacks, fruit and vegetables all around the hotel. At reception, in your room, and you can take as much as you like from the breakfast area. Especially the fresh fruit was very nice after a long day of hiking. There's also tons of bottled water that's always topped-up. The room was amazing; large, clean and even had a small study/desk area.
The front-desk helped me with getting a ride back to the station on the last day and I got a nice parting gift in the form of Tea. I wish I had booked a longer stay at this hotel, and I'd definitely go here again!

The front desk ladies are very considerate and thoughtful. They will also give suggestions for visiting scenic spots. The aunt in charge of the restaurant is also very enthusiastic and feeds all kinds of food

AAnja 安雅Lovely resort very out in the green, whilst close to Wuyigong palace, all peaks (Tianyoufeng, Dawangfeng, Shuilian Cave) as well as Duiia Qu for food. You can basically walk everywhere if you have enough time. The room was spacious and clean, the service was excellent, there is also a small travel agency that can take you for tea tasting and seeing how they grow and produce tea in Wuyishan. Breakfast was good, rather Chinese though. Receptionists were lovely and helpful, as well as room service. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

It is in a villa area (the villa area is a bit deserted with homestays, tea companies, and abandoned empty houses). The hotel service is not very good, which may be related to the level of development of the city where the hotel is located. The roomserves order was actually delivered to the room in a takeaway box without a bowl. The beer ordered was not given in cans. The glass bottle was not given a bottle opener. The food was cold when we kept waiting for everything to be delivered. The most speechless thing is that the double-decker family room with a room rate of 965 per night actually charges a buffet breakfast for children 1.1 meters tall! ! ! Shocked! ! I have lived in InterContinental hotels for more than 10 years. This is the first time I have encountered a buffet breakfast standard of 1.1 meters instead of 1.2 meters! ! The key is that there is nothing to eat for breakfast! ! I only ate half a sweet potato and a glass of boiled water! ! 😓😓When leaving, the child accidentally fell on his knee. The hotel did not have ice packs or other emergency measures. It only took a plastic bag to pack a bag of ice cubes. When checking out, the front desk gave a small box of tea. Considering there are no other international chains near Wuyi Mountain, I still stayed for another night 😮💨

The most important thing is the pick-up service, which saved us a lot of trouble. It was very considerate and warm. The driver also waited for us at the high-speed rail station early.
