GGuest UserThe food offered at the restaurant is very tasty and good value – they even give you free side dishes and veggies from the garden. Free servings of loose leaf teas (5 or 6 options from the farm, as I understand it – very tasty). It's a shame the cups and glasses are all made of single-use plastic for convenience – putting boiling water in plastic is really not great these days.
The tea rooms are very elegant but as far as I understand they're basically tasting rooms for customers wishing to buy tea, which can be a little confusing when you're just a guest hoping to drink tea, not necessarily buy some (let alone in bulk).
The staff are friendly, but don't speak english so that limits communication to money-related transactions. I was hoping for a map of the tourist area, directions to the bus stop, advice on where to go in the park, etc. but mostly figured it out on my own.
The room is very comfortable and the area is breathtaking – don't miss the Impressions Dahongpao show, and of course the scenic views in the park.

SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

AAnneHad a lovely 3 night stay over Christmas break. Took a 3 hour high speed train from Shanghai. The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station with reservation made in advance. Everything was very smooth. When we arrived at the hotel, my kids enjoyed the buggy ride from the main lobby to our villa, where there was a nice tea, fruit, and pastries waiting for us. The hotel is very close to the National park. It’s about a 30 min walk to the south entrance where you can get tickets for the bus that takes you around the park to the hiking trails and bamboo raft trip. Remember to bring your passport. We forgot but our photos were accepted as ID.
On our way out, we had some pictures taken on-site. We forgot to book in advance but the staff were very accommodating.
We do not speak mandarin at all but we were able to get by with Google translate, WeChat, and some of the staff are English speaking.
Overall, the Villas are very nice. The pictures look exactly as shown. A true 5 star. Would highly recommend.

EenerihaisStayed at Wuyishan Guanlan Shuyuan Space for 2 nights over Christmas and the hospitality we received is top-notch. Every corner of the hotel is an art, especially the lobby area. Love that there is a walking path just behind the hotel and we had good morning walks there.
The hotel pick up service from the train service was excellent, the food at hotel was amazing. We had a welcome tea and learnt alot about Chinese tea while waiting for our room to be ready.
Several spaces to explore within this hotel, and lots to experience. We used their KTV, played a game of GO and had a tea ceremonial class. There’s free bikes for rental if you’d want to cycle at the park behind the hotel. Wanted to try their complimentary hanfu experience but didn’t have the time to do so.
Only downside is that next to the hotel has some renovation ongoing but they aren’t a major blocker since the pros overweigh this con.
Overall, it feels like an experience similar to a Japanese ryokan. Very holistic and cultural. Special shout out to 燕燕 and 舟舟 for their meticulous attention to our needs!

When we met, we were as young as before, and we felt like old friends at the first sight. 🌿 Located at the entrance of the scenic spot, it is convenient to enter and exit, and it is quiet in the bustle. The service is professional and thoughtful, the environment is elegant and artistic, the fragrance of tea is lingering, and ”nature” is introduced into the room. Every floor and every place has details and surprises! 🍵💚🌿

CCheng77Quaint little hotel in midst of everything. Food, walking distance to free bus (bus route 6, 7 or 10) to Wuyishan south entrance, walking distance to Wuyi Palace. Lots of restaurants behind the hotel, daily night market selling snacks. Very commendable friendly reception and manager, who are always smiling and provides great tips on areas to go. Really appreciate their local insights.

GGuest UserReally nice hotel. Vert authentic feeling. Walking distance to the Wuyi Palace, from which you can catch the bus to other sites in the national park there. The only annoying thing was upon coming back to the hotel we found the outside door to the courtyard locked. It wasn't even that late, just around 11 o'clock or so. We had to call them to come open the door to let us in. Other than that, great spot and I'd definitely stay here again.
