Right by Sun Moon Lake, some rooms offer lake views. The restaurant has great scenery, and the prices are reasonable.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the view from the room was admittedly wonderful, it was completely overshadowed by a horrific experience. The bed was heavily infested with bed bugs. I woke up with severe bites all over my legs, which has completely ruined the rest of my travels. Dealing with the intense discomfort, itching, and the anxiety of potentially carrying them to my next destination (Kaohsiung) has been incredibly stressful and unpleasant. A nice view does not make up for a lack of basic hygiene and safety. Management needs to take immediate action, deeply treat these rooms, and take guest health seriously. I cannot recommend staying here until this severe issue is completely resolved.

Great location with a beautiful view from the lake-view room. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was decent. The facilities are a bit old but well-maintained. Aside from the poor soundproofing due to it being a wooden building, it was a pretty good stay overall.

A charming, old-world hotel with friendly and patient staff. 😛 It's super convenient, close to both the pier and the walking street. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and enjoying it while looking out at Sun Moon Lake is incredibly relaxing.

The building is filled with the scent of cypress wood. Although it's an older property, it's very well-maintained! I heard it's going to be renovated soon, and I hope they preserve its original wooden cabin charm. When I visit Sun Moon Lake again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.

Great location! You get stunning views of Sun Moon Lake right from your room. It's easy to walk to Ita Thao pier for snacks, and you can rent a bike to cycle around the lake. The Sun Moon Lake Ropeway station is also close by. We even saw some cherry blossoms and took some beautiful photos!
