Champs Yazuh B&B

Charming Homestay (Xiang Xie Ya Zhu B&B) boasts an excellent location, with a 7-11 and a PX Mart nearby. It's within walking distance to the train station, as well as the weekend and Tuesday night markets. The owner is very kind, and the rooms are well-designed, bright, and quiet. Each floor provides hot water. The garden design makes you feel like you've stepped into a fairyland. It's truly wonderful and a highly recommended B&B, especially considering its great value for money.

The water pressure was so low it was unbearable. The repairman couldn't fix it and just gave up.

Parking is very convenient and free. You have to go to the street or drive to eat, and it is not convenient to walk anywhere. Living on the third floor, I had to carry the suitcases up by myself. There were no mosquitoes, but there were a lot of ants. I parked the car for one night, and the next day I found ants in the trunk and in the room as well. Mineral water is not provided, but a drinking fountain is provided. There is an unknown machine outside the window that makes noise. You have to sleep with the window closed at night, otherwise it will be very noisy. There is a tea table on each floor, where you can drink tea and play cards, which is not bad. I only met the boss when I checked in, and then I didn't see the boss or other waiters until I left.

The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and there was a vegetarian handmade wood-fired pizza place across the street; the kids had a great time! It's very close to Jiji Railway Station, and there's also a night market to explore.

Some signs of age

The guesthouse was neat and clean, but the toilet had a faint swampy smell. My travel companions said it was uncomfortable after a while, but I was fine, so it was hard to pinpoint exactly what it was. 🫣 The breakfast of congee and side dishes was delicious, as was the freshly baked bread with jam (sesame and blueberry). The bread was soft and tasty. 😋
