"The Lalu is always my first choice whenever I visit Sun Moon Lake. I absolutely love the hotel's overall design, the room layout, and the staff's warmth and enthusiasm. The Lalu boasts the best lake views in all of Sun Moon Lake. My favorite part is enjoying the picturesque scene of the serene lake and distant mountains just before sunrise; I can stand on the balcony and quietly admire it for 30 minutes. I do have a small suggestion for The Lalu. We were a party of 10, staying in 3 rooms. Upon check-in in the morning, we clearly specified how our luggage should be distributed among the rooms. However, when we checked in that afternoon, we found that the luggage and welcome cookies for two of the rooms had all been placed in just one room. I understand The Lalu has many new employees, and they might need time to become familiar with all the operational details. This minor issue doesn't diminish our affection for The Lalu at all."

"Poor location especially for old people, nothing around the hotel had to travel quite a bit to the nearest eateries n convenient store. Service poor, not welcoming, only the conceige staffs are welcoming n helpful, not the front desk. Check in time and check out time were served without a smile, felt like oweing them money, no thank you when check out, no smiling face at all. Breakfast ok, room okay but to mention the bathroom with bathtub is great, besides that nothing amazing. Hope the management can train your front desk staffs to be more courteous n welcoming, to all guests from all countries, not only to those from certain countries. Hope you know what I mean."
