Sunday night stay for our wedding anniversary - perfect from the check in process and welcome from the lovely Bailey, the complimentary Prosecco on ice in our stunning March room with a view, the super relaxing couples Rasul mud treatment and spa, amazing dinner and service from Hannah, and finished off with a truly superb breakfast! Highly recommended

Booked for an overnight stay as visiting family in the area Excellent hotel with a 5***** spa and indoor pool We stayed in July room Lovely layout excellent bathroom with walk in shower , all toiletries supplied Wall mounted tv , Coffee station with range of drinks , fridge and safe Fine dining or bar restaurant both excellent We ate in the bar restaurant food was 5***** Great menu choice for both food and drinks All the staff deliver exceptional service The hotel and grounds are excellent One negative Only one electric charging post with three plug types not working BP Reported to BP still waiting for a response 24 hours later ( not the hotels problem ) We shall be returning in the not too distance future Thank you Rookery Hall Staff

A very big thanks to all the staff at rookery who went above and beyond to look after me during my two days stay. First and foremost I am so sorry I forgot the super lovely receptionist’s name that checked me in on Sunday evening, she was softly spoken, polite & kind. I also want to say a special thank you to Susana & Helen for an outstanding breakfast service they provided on both mornings. Susana also gave my friend & I an outstanding champagne afternoon tea service. she was very accommodating through & through. It would be also be a huge mistake not to thank the very talented kitchen team for all the tasty food! Gosh it’s so hard to write this cause there’s so much good things to mention about my experience at this well kept hotel. I am sure James is very proud of his team 10/10

I love staying at this hotel - the staff, food and rooms are great. My third visit and already planning my fourth. If you have time, visit the Spa too! Was lucky enough to be able to sit outside for a drink and a bite in the afternoon. Thank you Ella, Bailey, Rebecca and all the Team for an amazing stay.

From the moment that we stepped through the doors we were greeted in the most warm way. Everyone there was so friendly but yet highly professional. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard which is obviously reflected by the 3 rosettes they have been awarded. We didn’t use the spa facilities this time but will definitely take advantage next time we visit.

Just back from an overnight stay at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa. I think I can sometimes have expectations that are too high….. especially when it’s a top class hotel and therefore the hotel costs are slightly higher than usual!! But WOW… what a superb experience. From check-in to check-out, I don’t think the staff could have been more attentive and personable. This made for a really pleasant experience - one in which we were made to feel like valued guests, not just paying customers. Dinner was really fantastic (special shout out to Grace) and the Spa was exceptional - my wife said the Elemis Facial from Kerry was the best she’d ever had…. and she’s had a lot over the years The hotel, the rooms, the grounds, the restaurant, the spa, the health club are all pristine, and I mean pristine to the nth degree. We stayed in the old building; the rooms, the bedding, the views …. all amazing! Really glad we stayed there and would definitely recommend the old building over the new block. It’s also, the often unnoticed, little touches…I had early work calls in the morning and didn’t want to wake my wife in the bedroom so they found me a quiet spot in the bar, connected my laptop to the plug socket and wifi, and made sure I was all set. That, in my opinion, was going above and beyond what is usual. So in summary, get booked into Rookery Hall - you won’t regret it. We had probably the best hotel experience we’ve had for a long, long time and one that meant we were sad to drive away but 100% committed to returning and repeating. Thank you to all your staff for such a lovely memorable stay.

I was so excited arriving at this hotel and the first impression didn’t disappoint. From the moment we pulled in staff were attentive, helping with parking and luggage. Check-in was smooth and our room was even ready an hour early. A lovely touch was the bottle of bubbly and fudge waiting for us, along with a note from the manager wishing me and my daughter a happy 60th and 21st birthday. The room itself was fantastic—above reception with a beautiful view, comfortable beds and a spacious, spotless bathroom. During the day, I had lunch in the lounge while my daughter rested and the service was excellent. I felt well looked after and the food was delicious. However, our experience in the evening was quite different. We had requested a quiet seating area due to my daughter’s autism but it seemed like our reservation details hadn’t been checked. After requesting a quieter table I ordered a Prosecco which arrived looking more like wine. When I asked about it, the waiter assured me it was Prosecco but I felt as though I had upset him by questioning it. After our meal we were left sitting with empty plates while staff kept glancing over but never came to check if we wanted dessert. Eventually, feeling uncomfortable, we just left. The next day, I raised the issue with management and they were very apologetic, refunding the meal. I appreciated their response, but it was disappointing that this happened on my birthday. Thankfully, the stay ended on a high note with a fantastic massage. Overall, I would still return, as I believe this was a one-off issue and not the hotel’s usual standard. The food and most of the service were excellent, and the thoughtful birthday touches made the trip special.

Hotel is lovely, clean and relaxing but the staff are the best part of this hotel. Every member of staff we came across were friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. We asked for a few specific things that weren’t the norm or weren’t on the menu and everything was “sure, no problem!”. Customer service nowadays seems to have gone downhill drastically in hotels but this hotel should pride itself on its 10* customer service in all departments!! Apart from the staff being amazing, the bedrooms were lovely, everything was clean, beds were comfy, spa was lovely and very clean too, food was yummy and service was second to none!! Would 100% recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a relaxing stay, you feel well looked after, relaxed and special.

Let me paint the picture. My wife and I were looking for somewhere to go for the weekend. We’ve stayed at Hand Picked hotels before and they’ve always been good. But Rookery Hall is by far the best place we’ve stayed in the UK by a country mile. The staff just make the whole place if it could be a 7* hotel. We called on the Friday evening for a stay on Saturday. Bailey on the reception was so polite and made us feel so at ease. When we arrived Saturday morning. Elle on reception was just fantastic so polite/professional and a credit to the hotel. She even managed to upgrade our room. The spa facilities were lovely and clean, even the staff at the spa were great specifically Victoria whom recommended which smoothie to have. (She was right) Dinner was extremely tasty and Keiran was great and kept the Guinness’s coming! Definitely would recommend staying again. Just a note on the room, the showers will shock you, and there’s a tv in the bath. Great touch! 10/10!
