My husband and I celebrated 25 years together last week, and he surprised me with two nights at the stunning Auberge resort in Rutherford. From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The setting is absolutely beautiful, nestled right in the heart of Napa. The ambience is peaceful and elegant, and the property feels both luxurious and welcoming. Every member of the staff — from the check-in team and hostess to the management — was gracious, attentive, and genuinely kind. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the overall experience felt incredibly special. We did have one issue during our stay: loud bass-heavy music from a distant area that woke us up very early in the morning. I had to call the front desk more than once, but they handled it with great care and professionalism. While it was unexpected, they generously comped our spa experience — which we didn’t ask for and truly didn’t need, but it was a much-appreciated gesture that showed how much they value their guests. They also noted our account to ensure a quieter room for future visits, which we appreciated. Despite that hiccup, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back. We’ve also recommended Auberge to friends and colleagues, especially those looking for a luxurious, romantic escape in wine country.

Excellent property, amenities and staff. We would absolutely return and while very expensive, was worth the cost. The room was spacious, well appointed and stocked with food and beverages. Beautiful terrace overlooking the valley. Restaurant onsite is fabulous. High quality service all around. Pool and spa also excellent.

Romantic and cozy. This place is a dream in Napa valley and I hope we get to go again. Service is top notch and you’ll be treated like royalty in a place like heaven. I recommend the upgraded room with outdoor pool and shower - it was once in a lifetime experience

Absolutely stunning property. The room was amazing and made it a hard decision on whether to visit wineries or relax in the room. Having a Michelin Star restaurant on site only added to the experience and made the entire visit feel luxurious.

This is the ultimate resort in Napa Valley. My husband and I have now tried them all, and this by far is the one we would most rather spend the money to get away when we can take a break from work. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone who wanted hospitable, top-notch luxury without any complaint.

This is a true gem. The peaceful tranquility and stunning landscape while being pampered is second to none. It's very costly but worth the price for a special occasion like ours. The service was topppp notch and the spa was wonderful. Would love to come back again.
