Getting to Naito JR station from Kyoto was very smooth and convenient. The hotel had confirmed our booking for three adults for two nights in Chinese, English, and Japanese. Upon entering the room, we found two beds pushed together, which was perfectly acceptable. It wasn't until we returned after dinner that evening that we realized there were only two duvets. Given how tired we were from our travels, and knowing that triple rooms usually provide three duvets, I sent my son down to the front desk to ask for an extra one. This ordeal took nearly an hour. A female staff member at the front desk was adamant that two duvets were perfectly sufficient for three people. She insisted that an additional duvet would incur an extra charge. She then vaguely claimed they had no spare duvets. She subsequently offered to move us to another room, which I accepted. However, she then backtracked, stating the new room would need cleaning, and refused the room change. Eventually, my father, seeing how much time was being wasted, also went downstairs to sort things out. After my father's firm insistence and logical arguments, they finally relented and reluctantly provided a single throw blanket. About an hour after we had returned to our room, a staff member knocked on our door and unceremoniously delivered another rather crumpled duvet. We had a dreamless night. At 8 AM, we even received a 'caring' call from the hotel, asking how we had slept. Haha, quite a unique experience, I suppose I should still give them some credit.

Unlike the hustle and bustle of Osaka, Nara is a perfect spot for relaxation. While it doesn't boast a multitude of attractions, visiting the park early in the morning away from the crowds, or simply spending time with the deer, offers a unique and memorable experience, especially for children. This hotel is conveniently located near Nara JR Station. While it might not be a luxury establishment, it's well-equipped with everything you need. The rooms are very spacious, as are the bathrooms, which even feature double sinks. Right at Nara Station, there's a large supermarket, perfect for picking up groceries or snacks to enjoy back at the hotel. Plus, there's an ice machine on the first floor. A big plus is the complimentary breakfast. While the ingredients might not be gourmet, there's a good variety of items available. In the evenings, guests can also enjoy a complimentary public bath. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

Great hotel! Super convenient location right by the JR station. The room was spacious and had everything one could need. Breakfast was also quite good.

Good. Parking is limited, so I had to use a nearby paid parking lot. The cost was comparable. The hotel's own parking isn't free either, costing 800 JPY per stay.

Excellent location to Nara Train Station and buses to the attractions in Nara. Less than 5 minutes walk from the Nara train station. Room is small like all Japanese hotels, but the shower stall is large like North American ones. Quite a number of choices for breakfast.

The room was small, but spotlessly clean and well-maintained, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast selection was quite varied, and the service was attentive and courteous. A good hotel overall.

The hotel is conveniently located not far from the station. While the room is a bit compact, it's perfectly adequate for a short stay, making it ideal for business trips. Prices are quite reasonable if you're staying during the week. I noticed a good number of Chinese guests staying there.
