Extended Stay America Select Suites - Nashville - Airport

This had to be one of the worse places I've ever stayed at. We got there to find out that the extra money we paid to have breakfast was non-existent, they don't give breakfast here. All they do is a grab-and-go (see pictures). Also, this was supposed to be a NON-smoking facility and people were smoking in their rooms and standing at the stairwells smoking right when you walked past them. The amount of smoke and ********* smoking was ridiculous. The smell was awful!! There also were activities going on in the middle of the night. The noise at 2 am was ridiculous with people coming and going. This couple was arguing in the hallway right in front of my door and I called down to the office she said she was going to make her rounds and stop them but that NEVER happened. They just continued to yell and scream. I finally opened my door and asked them to stop and this guy stops and looks at me and starts screaming at me. I had to call the police. The carpets were dirty, the chairs were dirty that was supposed to be in the room. The counters were dirty. I wiped everything down before we put our stuff down. We couldn't switch hotels because we were in town for a Rock N Roll half marathon race and all the hotels were full with nothing available. I complained to the manager who said she didn't hear about any of my complaints and was SUPPOSED to give me money back but NEVER DID. NEVER STAY HERE... IT'S GROSS AND I KNOW ***** ARE BEING DONE HERE. I had to pay extra for this "hot" breakfast. WHAT A JOKE.

I wish we had a negative option because even giving a score of one is to much. Don’t stay here unless you are a smoker, then by all means join the chain smokers. If you don’t mind nasty, then ok. The air conditioning unit filter smelled like wet dog. I can’t think of a positive thing to say. We left a day early. We decided missing some of Nashville was better than another night in this place.

The staff was not helpful at all. The room was dirty and had bugs crawling on the floor. The sheets and towels didn’t smell clean at all. There was supposed to be no smoking and we couldn’t sleep for the smell of smoke…all types! There were a razor blade outside our room and beer cans in the bushes. Not at all what we expected from the description and pictures. This was a awful experience!

There was hair in the shower and the bath tub. No other complaints but that’s nasty!!

Extended Stay is convenient to downtown and other parts of Nashville. The staff was friendly and courteous. The office hours could open a little earlier for the early-birds. Overall, I would recommend it.

Check in was fine. The area in front of the door was dirty and sticky. The room smelled of strong chemical. The walls in the room and bathroom had stains/marks on them. The carpet was dirty with visible items embedded in the fibers. The bedcover beneath the sheet had a dirty spot that showed through the sheet. There was a dead roach in the bathtub. The drywall under the shower head had water damage.

There were roaches everywhere. I didn’t feel comfortable enough to cook anything in there. There were holes in the walls. I’m happy I brought my own blankets so I didn’t have to sleep on those sheets

This transaction was a disaster. Purchased and paid on *******. Showed up to property at roughly 12:30am. Lobby was closed. Had to use a phone outside. It dialed a National number I think. They asked who I was and stated the hostess would be there shortly. About 5 mins later, she showed up. First words out of her mouth were “when did you make this reservation”? The next sentence was “if the night time audit is running, I won’t be able to give you a room”. The third sentence out of her mouth was “I don’t have any rooms available”. So I booked a room, and paid for it on *******. $30 in wasted Ubers to and from this hotel, and no room, even though I booked and paid for. Hotel was shady anyway. Multiple people outside loitering, smoking **** and big police presence around hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

They hotel was overbooked. So we was given the rooms we booked online. No amenities were available like coffee pots, hair dryers, hand towels, or tissues. We were grateful for toilet paper. No ice machine & or vending were available either. Never again will se stay there.
