Looking to have a relaxing night away from the kids

Our visit was 9/8-9/12/2021. We arrived after 10pm sign on door read -MASK REQUIRED_ AWESOME... and were warmly greeted and quickly checked in by the 2nd shift front desk employee. The hotel lobby was small but clean. We proceeded to our room on the 1st floor. The room was very clean, the bathroom clean and stocked well with towels, soap, etc. The furniture was in great condition. the room had 2 double beds and 3 pillows on each bed. Everything was pretty good up to this point. Then I sat on the bed.. I thought I was sitting on a table! The mattresses are HARD! If you like a hard mattress great but if not you had a few nights of little sleep like I did. The housekeeping staff did good job and were always friendly. We appreciated the decent rate as other places in the area were at $200+ a night. If you want more luxury be prepared to pay it with another hotel brand. All in all ... I would return because of the reasonable rates and put up with a lack of decent sleep due to a hard mattress. The Econo lodge served its purpose for a decent price. The location was great. Close to my friends/family, parkways, restaurants, shopping mall, and great Long Island diners.

We checked out after one night and cancelled our other reservation with you. We came to town for a wedding and my friends who were getting married clearly didn’t visit your “hotel” before booking a room block with you. Booking the reservation was problematic. You didn’t offer them any sort of discount as an incentive when they booked the room block, which my wife and I found to be discourteous. We didn’t book online since there was no way to activate the room block discount (which as mentioned above, didn’t exist). They gave us two separate reservations, so this prolonged process of confirming two reservations took about 30 minutes, and I already regretted it. Your motel is located next to a TGIFriday’s which was a blessing since we were starving when we got there, but it was really closer to Baldwin rather than RVC and should have been advertised as such. There is no privacy or any sense of security. When we got to the parking lot, we were greeted by many people milling about and talking in the parking lot. Throughout our stay, they were there, and it made us very uncomfortable, sometimes as many as 20 people in a party just hanging out in the lot. Why would you let them do this? Our friend who was also staying with you told us that someone tried to come into her room unannounced, so after that, we decided we couldn’t trust the staff and didn’t want turn down service. The room was okay, not great. The bed mattress felt sunken in and old. The bathroom was disproportionate and missing at least a towel rack. There was a screw in the wall that used to hang something where the mirror now sat. The room was dark and dreary. The clicker was missing a battery cover and didn’t work, so no TV. The WiFi was inconsistent. When my wife said we were leaving and wouldn’t need the second reservation for the two additional nights, the guy at the front desk barely batted an eyelash. He called me two hours later to confirm that I had left. I wouldn’t come back to this motel even if it was free.

Always an easy setup when I go there. I was able to bring my cat and I love that this place is pet friendly. It gives my cat a sense of freedom when he sits on the ledge .

I can't express enough how wonderful the team at Four Points were for us. Nicole (Director of Sales) was our point person for booking rooms for over 30 people and her communication and professionalism made the process seamless. Alexis & Jada at the front desk were also quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had.

I like a hotel very much. Although it can’t be compared with Marriott in China, the hotel is relatively new and the sanitation is good. The breakfast is the richest I’ve had during this trip, haha, especially their blueberry jam and apricot jam. Delicious😋, there is iced fruit water every day, of course the most important thing is that the room has a small kitchen with complete tableware for simple cooking🍳

Hilton garden Inn Melville has an amazing package that every hotel should have for brides to get ready the morning of their wedding! Rosemarie the sales manager provided information in their “Beauty and Bubbles” package that includes champagne, a light breakfast, makeup chairs and mirrors a long table for your makeup and hair stylist and then extra seating to enjoy breakfast- all put together in a clean and modern conference room ! The price for the room and amenities are very fair. Rosemarie answered all of the questions leading up to the day and made herself available the morning of, there was an attendant there if needed and other staff made It known they were available ! There is a bathroom right next door to the room to use to change if needed. Not to mention the hotel is spotless with a beautiful outdoor area with fire pits that we enjoyed the night before during our stay, a bar, snack stand, pool and immaculate guest rooms. Overall 10-10. The hotel was amazing even though it’s a local hotel I’m definitely going back just for an overnight staycation because of the clean and modern amenities. I'm not sure if these reviews that I'm reading, the guests stayed at the same property that I did. My stay was nothing but pure awesomeness.It began with my Administrative Assistant having the anxiety task of booking my room and she knows exactly what I like and how precise I am about where I put my head to rest. I had her change 3 different reservations that were previously booked and I finally decided on the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale.

I stay here regularly for Business and I love how friendly and welcoming is. Particularly Steve and Raul. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you need, including a fridge and microwave which is so handy when being away from home. The breakfast is OK, lots of choice and all very clean and covid safe but nothing fancy. There is a gym and a pool I believe but not used those facilities. Unfortunately there is no bar or restaurant for lunch or dinner, however plenty of options nearby including a wholefoods next door, target, trader Joe's and Walmart, as well as a Wendy's and shake shack. Hotel are also happy to call for take out on your behalf and there are loads of nearby options. Location is great and only a 10 min walk from Carle place train station which is a 45 min ride to Penn Station in Manhattan. I always look forward to staying in this hotel and it feels like a home from home for me.
