We loved our stay here especially our kids. Rooms has been renovated and upgraded based on our last visits. Cool air, nice place to relax, there were so many things we can do in this resort and being here alone is already a very nice experience. Though we have to go out a lot of times to buy our food, but my kids still love the experience. We also get to visit places in Tagaytay since the location of the resort is just at the boundary of Tagaytay and Nasugbu. We will definitely go back here and would highly recommend this resort to families.

The hotel room was clean & spacious. The resort offered a lot of activities. Buffet breakfast served a wide variety of food. The staff were very courteous, friendly, and helpful.

They give their best to provide good quality service to their guests. The cabin family rooms are huge but room amenities are just okay. Heater just needs some fixing since it suddenly changes temperature. There’s a lot of activities to do and food are decent tasting for the price. Overall, i highly recommend the place

Good for group activities, not crowded

Dirty swimming pool in unorganized accommodation. The water pressure in the shower room was weak, so the water came out sloppy, and the hot water came out on and off. Anyway, I will never go to this resort again.

Overall, place is good for the price. I paid 3500 for a cabin through an online travel agent. They were not too strict with extra persons. Just a few things that caught my attention. 1. Pool tiles are old. Careful swimming you might cut yourself in the pool. 2. Activities end 5pm. Only the main pool can be used after 5pm. 3. The spa therapist/receptionist booked me for 7pm. It was 730pm and she was still doing service for another client. I just walked out after waiting for 45 minutes. Front office staff didnt even bother to check on the schedule when I asked. 4. Very odd that they dont have phones in the room. You need to call their cellphone if you need something in the room. Staff are pleasant dont get me wrong. They try hard to serve guests. I just sense that management does not care at all about the guests.

my family and i spent the new year's eve at forest crest. we love the climate, the room, food, service and the activities. the event was a blast! we enjoyed the band and the drag queens and the fireworks too! we will definitely consider going back to spend one of the holidays this 2025!

I am now staying (July 13, 2024) at cottage 3014 and it’s 10pm. The music sounds with all the dancing and shouting from an on-going event is not letting other guests get a good sleep. We and other guests have complained but it all fell on deaf ears. Our room is poorly lighted. WiFi is so, so weak; no telephone system to call front desk, housekeeping, and TV channels are very, very limited.

forest crest has a huge landscape that spans a whole block along the national highway going to the heart of nasugbu, batangas. going there is quite a pain because the roads are being repaired and traffic was horrible. the usual 30 minutes from the center of tagaytay more than doubled. and then the place. formerly known as chateau royale hotel, this resort underwent a major overhaul in its management team during the pandemic. the thing is, we could not compare it from previous handlers since it was our first time to visit. but get this: it took 24 hrs upon arrival before housekeeping gave us an extra set of linens & toiletries even when they were reminded a day before that two people will stay in my room. the bathroom door cannot be locked. it exudes a foul odor like it was left uncleaned for ages. the water heater has been turned off. when asked for assistance, nobody came to address our concern. we have to figure out on our own how the water temperature can be regulated. the water heater was concealed under the sink. the wifi will drive you crazy. you need to stay near the door if you want free internet access. it was so disappointing. and the shuttle service sucks. you'll just end up walking the whole distance to reach your function hall because there was no service vehicle available. if you want to have a fun, relaxing getaway, go somewhere else.

Great staff and security team. Horrible condition of the room's doors. The toilet was constantly running, the air conditioner was barely keeping the room cool. There was no refrigerator (our booking site indicated that there was supposed to be one). Worst - the motor vehicles outside would rev their engines as the Cabin Family room was right next to the highway (the noise was outlandish).
