Top 5-Star Hotels in Natal

A truly five star experience. We are here to celebrate my wife and brother in laws birthdays this weekend. The whole family, Danish and Brasilien together. We are 14 combined, sisters, brothers, children, husbands, wifes and grandmother. After a 4 hour drive from Recife to Natal, we finally arrived here at Ocean Palace Natal. What a place! Situated right on the beach, its the perfect place to celebrate my wife this weekend. The food and drink is to die for. The staff is brilliant and the hotel manager is a real gentleman. The hotel's strong point is certainly the food. Sensational! of all restaurants. The staff's friendliness is great! The reasonable efficiency, I expected more than 5 stars. Room did not meet my expectations, smell of unpleasant mto mopho, we complained, made a maintenance in ozone air conditioned, but did not solve. We had a discharge in the bathroom, which delayed us to watch ai magic show, we ended up losing ... Prima swimming pools, but could have some air conditioning, the heated pool was for adult, my 4-year-old son couldn't enjoy. Finally, mto hotel is good, but for the value we paid was expected more, mainly from accommodation.

WISH NATAL is beautiful and very well located. If peace and tranquility is what you're looking for, you've come to the right place. If you have young children, that will work too. The hotel is a little dated, you can see some bruises here and there, but the cleanliness is top notch. The staff is very warm and makes you feel very welcome. Waiters like ”King” Arthur, Junior, Djalmir and Creusa made our stay much more pleasant. Saulo, the pool bartender is a very talented guy and keeps the bar running like clockwork. They should definitely fix the elevators (they malfunction all the time) and provide some afternoon menu (cheese bread, cakes, pancakes or tapioca to pair with the espresso). I mean, the food is very good, it only felts short on that aspect. The bedroom needs some light control improvements and better storage, all this is much better in the suites. The ocean view from our balcony was BREATHTAKING! The entertainment team does whatever it takes to please you and keep the kids occupied without disturbing the environment (everyone gets what they want), including beach tennis, pool aerobics and beach activities. The beach itself was great but too windy for us to take advantage of the nice beach chairs and umbrellas, good for a walk though (sunscreen is a must). Overall it's a very nice place that I recommend to friends who want to spend a week or two in Natal.

I booked the hotel to bring my mom so she could enjoy the stay after a cancer treatment during the Brazilian winter. The room is really nice, the staff is great, and the hot tub was a big reason to choose the hotel. But we could not use it as Vogal doesn’t have hot water (stayed in 2 rooms and had the same issue). It was challenging to take a shower, as the water at best was not freezing - not even warm. I’m vegan and informed it upon arrival so the kitchen could be prepared. I was informed it was not an issue. But breakfast was almost impossible and for the exception of my second night, there were almost no options to eat dinner - surely not worth paying for the food if you are vegan. Natal has great vegan options in many restaurants. If you are ok with no hot shower and a cold tub (Which should be fine in summer around here) it has nice amenities and very well trained staff. They were very polite when I complained about paying for 6 meals and having a hard time with 5 of them, explained to me what they would do internally só future guests didn’t have the same issue and how their policy is to not give a discount so too bad I could not eat. Went to my room to eat some peanuts.

The hotel is beautifully located, is a few meters from the Black Point beach, the hotel is very large, the reception service is very good. Breakfast is simple and tasty. The room where I stayed is very large and clean. But the room access card had always to go to the reception to activate again, even leaving the card away from other cards and mobile, it was a disorder because the hotel is big and the room I stayed was very far from the reception. You need to make a rest outside the hotel, paint, make a hair again.

If you are used to international traveling you soon find out that the north of Brazil has a big potential for tourism and hotels are a huge issue. I am Brazilian and a Hotelier for the last 45 years. The hotel configuration is a little confusing with the two buildings on each side of the road but the receptionist did a good job explaining how to move around. The room was comfortable. The service at the breakfast was good and the girl at the pool bar was fantastic.

Hotel with excellent structure, service, a wonderful breakfast, without comment. I recommend without errors.

Great location (right on the beach), restful, great service, fabulous food. Paulo and Percival are among the best servers we have ever experienced around the world. Percival is fluent in English….so helpful. Breakfast buffet has great options: fruit, egges, pancakes. Wonderful juices and choice of yogurts.

This is probably one of the easiest reviews I have written in a long time. Coral Plaza was a refreshing oasis of fun, a great location, good food, comfort and friendly hospitality. The staff has the right attitude here, everyone wants to help and make your experience even better. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, clean and safe. We had a small problem with the AC in room 104 upon check-in but the management sent a tech to fix it and the issue was solved within a few minutes. The pool areas are spacious and well furnished, with plenty of room for all. The restaurant offers excellent food. Our breakfasts here were likely the best breakfasts that we enjoyed during our 2024 tour of Brazil. The bar, the spa, the parking basement (with plenty of parking spaces), all worked really well for us. We liked the Coral Plaza Resort so much that we decided to stay an extra night and the hotel management accommodated us (in the middle of their high season!) in room 126 which was also nice, perhaps with a lesser attractive view from the balcony than our previous deluxe room 104, but we were very happy to have it. We will be back!
