Beautiful location, comfortable and welcoming Excellent location if you like hiking - the mountains and countryside were on the doorstep. Run by an enthusiastic and very genial ornithologist. Slight miscommunication on check in that cost us an extra €20 which was unforeseen and a little annoying but we were happy to pay it. Service from staff was exceptional and the food served in the bar was delicious. TV didn’t work in the bedroom and a fan would have been welcome as it was hot when we stayed.

Charming hotel, decorated with photos, sketches and paintings by local artisans, featuring birds and history. Wandering the public rooms, all with welcoming seating, you feel the efforts of the owners to showcase nature. Food expertly prepared and presented. Rooms on the public terrace side have a little private sunroom, a lovely surprise. Would easily recommend.

Nos encantó tanto el Hotel, como el personal que nos atendió. El desayuno y la comida que ofrecen muy buena. Sin duda si vuelvo a Gredos, me volvería a alojar, en el mismo Hostal

Si vas a descansar es nefasto.las 7 de la mañana y la gente tiene muy poca educación se creen q están en sus casas muy poca empatía.las habitaciones deberían estar algo insonorizadas pq desde luego parece q están metidos en tu habitación.El entorno es bueno y buena comunicación.desde luego q para descansar nada.

El hotel es una maravilla,un hotel con encanto y muy bien cuidado...Un hotel especialmente dedicado a las aves que tiene un hide (dentro del propio hotel) donde se ven maravillosas especies sobretodo passeriformes,ademas de picapino,pitoreal, etc...El amigo (ya lo es) Luis y su mujer Loli hacen las delicias de una estancia que supero en todo mis espextativas,y eso que eran muy buenas las refencias que llevaba...volveré y no es una amenaza.
